I couldn’t be more pleased with the APEC ROES-50 Essence Series 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System. From installation to performance, this system has exceeded my expectations. The water quality is outstanding—crystal clear, with no taste of chlorine or impurities. It’s reassuring to know that the water my family is drinking is ultra-pure and safe.The installation was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn’t particularly handy. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary parts were included. The pre-filter set (Stages 1-3) has excellent capacity and is very easy to replace when needed. I appreciate that APEC’s filters are WQA-certified, giving me peace of mind about the quality.One of the best things about this system is how much money it has saved us—we no longer need to buy bottled water, and the water tastes just as good, if not better! The tank fills quickly, and the system is quiet in operation. Overall, it’s a great investment, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality water filtration at home.

The set up was very simple because of detailed written instructions English instructions and diagrams. The system works very well and will highly recommend it.

I live in an area where the city water is questionable. It could very much be a placebo, but the water tastes good without any smell. No leakage yet.

I highly recommend APEC WATER ROES-50/75 Essence Series systems for ease of use, affordability, flexible, and excellent support. I don't usually give a 5 start perfect review. This company and system honestly deserves it (so far after 8 months at least).REASONMy need was for a home filtration for four people. I was looking for a simple system that is small to medium size for under my compact sink cabinet and not super expensive for initial purchase nor filter replacements. APEC hits all the marks and then some. After install my TDS reading went from 185 down to 22 (with some increase over time to 32 as filters get used)!SUPER EASYI had an existing two-stage filter with a drinking water tap. The APEC kit fit perfectly and came with extra bits that allowed me to also attach an existing secondary line to my ice maker. All the tubing was plentiful and plugged in easily to the filters and other pieces with zero leaks. It all just worked, even drilling into my drain pipe was easy to attach the waste tube with included leak-proof parts. Instructions were simple and easily read with large color images.NICE ADDITIONSI purchased the ROES-50 kit that uses five stages. I later added a sixth stage to re-mineralize because the water was on the super clean-tasting side which didn’t do any favors for my morning coffee brew. APEC offered an easy add-on kit that included the filter plus extras needed to connect and mount. When I received the kit, it was missing the clips for mounting. I sent an email and they immediately mailed me the parts, no questions asked.MANY SALE$I also signed up for the mail list and am satisfied to see all of the sales they have for replacement filters. There aren’t too many messages either. This system is easily less expensive than those from other manufacturers. Convenient six or twelve month subscriptions bring the price down further.EXCELLENT SUPPORTAfter about 8 months, I had a pressure problem that turned out to be a silly user error on my part. Before I figured out what went wrong on my end, I emailed APEC for help. They were extremely responsive AND helpful with multiple clear step guides that were easy to follow.In short, I’d recommend APEC WATER products to most anyone.

I was a little intimidated at first about getting this to work the way I wanted to, but it was a really simple set up. I actually have this in a closet in my basement and going up to my fridge on the first floor. I just ordered extra length of 1/4" O.D. tubing so it could run further. The stock kit comes with enough for you to install directly under the sink.Some parts I recommend updating is the feed water adapter that attaches the system directly to your water supply. I ordered a brass one instead and its been working out great. That way if the system leaks for any reason, you'll know right away.All said and done, the water is fantastic. My tap water wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Testing the tap and testing the RO treated water, I can see a very clear difference. Ph is more balanced and showing no signs of contaminants. I can also taste the difference too. My ice and water kind of left a weird aftertaste in your mouth and now it doesn't. Pure, clean water.This kit was very easy to get going and if you have even a few brain cells, you should be able to just look at the diagram and understand how it works. Instructions were very helpful though.For the price, this is fantastic. Just keep in mind its limited to how much water it can provide. I originally thought I could have this hooked up to my sink, dishwasher, etc, but it's not like that. There are more expensive system out there that could handle that kind of load. This is really to provide clean water to one or two sources through the provided faucet and an ice maker. The system is simple and very easy to modify if you'd like to do so.
