For a first timer using this product: great experience. The price was decent, and the outcome was good. It was a bit difficult to mix and fast to harden, but the mold turned out. I will have to update review when I use the molding with the plaster and update the review in a few months for longevity. Great for a first time use and experience. Future review of product to come.

This is a great little kit. I bought it to cast insulating hot end socks for one of my 3d printers and they have worked very well and stand up to the heat better than expected. This is very easy to work with and I have used syringes without needles to measure out the small volumes needed to cast the socks.

I made a small clay item (with an aluminum foil inside) and used the Nasubi to create a mold of it. The one thing I didn't see addressed anywhere was what to do if the item is lightweight. When I had it covered in the silicone, I went to bed last night to let it set up overnight. It was laying flat and completely covered, with the recommended 1/4" of silicone on top. When I got up this morning, it had floated up on one side and was sticking out of the set up silicone. It set up just as it was supposed to and I was able to free the clay piece from the silicone but because it had floated overnight, the mold was no longer good and I had to toss it.

I love this for making molds. It's quick and easy and doesn't smell.
