I needed this to line the inside of a metal cabinet, a very smooth and easy surface to work with generally. Using a hard rubber spatula to carefully adhere the paper to the cabinet, and even though I've done similar things many times before I still ended up with a few little spots where there is some puckering and somehow even ended up with a very small tear. For the price though, I'd probably still consider it again, I'd just take a lot more care applying it. I probably wouldn't try to use it over a large surface area.

Renter friendly, they remove easily (um.....also if you make a mistake). To install, I used a straight edge, a sharp new blade utility knife (it gets dull, have extra new blades on hand for the best result), scissors, a screwdriver to remove plug plates. I used a no-residue cleaner on the wall and then sprayed alcohol to make *sure* there was no residue that could affect adhesive. I did not sand the surface at all, I wanted to test it without that step. I do have texture, but this product can't be called renter friendly if you have to sand texture, right?It's such a cheerful print, it makes me happy to see it in the morning. The "landlord special" grey paint job is no longer my dreary reality.
