Update: still using and loving these in 2022!!I bought these in September 2018 (it is now June 2019) and I have circled back to write this review.The elastic initially unraveled a bit but that was EASILY overlooked.I wore these as my winter boots all through the season, both NYC and upstate NY— just add warm socks. They were perfect and I saved so much money not buying winter boots.And then I wore them all through rainy spring (just remove warm socks).No leaking no holes nothing. They keep my feet warm and dry, all through winter and even now. Barely any scuffing and I am not careful or kind to my shoes.I did use cheap inserts in them because I was wearing them so much but I can’t express how much money I saved overall for boots that have treated me so well.I paid the $20 for these at a time I didn’t really have $20 and it has proved worth it.8 months later and I still love love love them.

I wanted a pair of black ankle boots, but it gets pretty snowy here in the winter, so I wanted something that is waterproof. I also wanted boots that weren't bulky. I have high arch and mid foot, so finding boots that fit is hard sometimes. I liked that these were Chelsea style boots, I figured that the elastic down the sides would offer some give for my feet.I didn't want to spend a ton of money, and these were a good deal, and they had prime shipping, so I figured I'd give them a try.When I got them, they looked nice. I tried them on, and they did go on without too much trouble. They seemed to be well made, and that they wouldn’t have problems with leaking (I wasn’t able to try them out). They were quite narrow though. Enough that I didn’t think I could wear them for very long periods of time, and I don’t have wide feet. I was also concerned that because my feet felt too wide in them that they would split and leak.I liked them, but I just couldn’t keep them under the circumstances, because I knew that I wouldn’t wear them for fear of splitting them.

these boots are gorgeous, especially for the price, but they were packaged in a plastic bag with no packing or protection and there was a paper sticker stuck to the outside surface of one of the boots, which would have ruined them if they weren’t rubber. I had to sit there and painstakingly peel it off with my thumbnail while wondering what dolt thought this was a good idea. this was on the inside of the inner bag containing the boots so this was the fault of the distributor or manufacturer and not Amazon.

First off I read a lot of reviews on several rain boots before picking these ones. I liked the reviews, the look, the price. I bought these specifically for a 4 day trip to chicago with expected rain on all 4 days (it didn’t rain). I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9 like suggested, with thin socks they were a little loose but with thicker socks they fit perfect. (My feet swell so I was ok with this) The boots were easy to get on and off. Walking around Chicago they were pretty comfy, I would suggest wearing taller socks bc the top of the boot will rub. I wore them for a day before getting taller socks, it didn’t rub my skin raw just an annoyance! The boots did have a rubber smell when I first received them but it wasn’t noticeable by the time I got to Chicago from Ohio.

Okay so I have been looking for some rain boots like this for a long time, but nothing has really caught my eye, until I ran into THESE. Wow I was so excited when they showed up! They hit right above your ankle so they are great with high socks that stick out the top. They match everything and go with just about every outfit.Fit- True to size, I normally wear an 8.5/9 and ordered these as a 9 and they fit great with wool socks for the winter.Comfort- 7/10, they are definitely rain boots so they aren't the comfiest shoes I've ever worn, but they keep my feet warm which is what I want.

Great for the price. $14.99 can’t beat that. Yes the sides did rip out after about 2 months. But they are prefect for outside and to slip on for rainy days. I wouldn’t think wear them all day to work or anything but prefect for what I needed them for. I’ve been buying them for 3 years now, o my on my 3rd pair.

Unless you have extremely wide feet, or you plan on wearing these over 8 pairs of socks, sizing up is not necessary. They are made true to size. I am a size 7, but I ordered an 8 because the reviews were overwhelmingly negative about the sizing. That was /not/ a good idea, however I ordered them too close to the date I needed them, so I just have to deal with it. I can see where somebody who has exceptionally wide feet would have to size up, as these do run a bit narrow, but I don't see the big deal about them being ridiculously small. Simply not true. Other than that, these are great boots for going across campus in the rain, and they're cute enough that you don't have to carry an extra pair of tennies in your book bag! :)

bought these for a mission trip where we were definitely going to get muddy and they worked amazing!! really put up the fight and has not broken or worn down, the only thing i will add though is that it could start hurting at the achilles heel/ ankle area where the shoe stops so be mindful if you plan on wearing it for a long time (this is the reason i’m giving it 4 stars)
