Happy to recommend
I was initially concerned about buying a TV with an operating system I had no experience with and which wasn't well known. However, the OS on this is the best I have ever used. It's fast to load up and extremely fluid and responsive in use. It was actually updated a few weeks ago and was genuinely an improvement on the original. As for the hardware itself, I'm not an expert or connoisseur but the picture looks great to me. It has loads of different picture modes and automatically adjusts when you change the input, e.g. it adjusts if I'm connecting my PC or playing from a connected harddrive. That all seems to work well. It even informs you when a particular mode might be using additional power. You can fine tune the picture yourself using the settings and, after a bit of playing around I've settled on settings that seem to suit my room pretty well. The sound is pretty good. I'm no audiophile but it is clear and can handle high volume levels without distortion which is fine for me. There is pretty much every app available that I can think of, in terms of streaming channels and the live TV app works well with a decent channel guide. Setting it up is easy. You just need to screw in the legs but best to have a second pair of hands to support the screen when doing that. Setting up the TV is equally straightforward. There's an app for the phone that you can install and use as an alternative to the remote if you prefer. Recommended. Totally happy with the purchase.

What this tv does it does it really well.
So we decided to get this 4k mini led hdr tv, and we are really impressed with it. At first trying to get the right picture quality was proving difficult, has it would look like some programs had some sort of light brown misty film grain, and no matter what i did never worked. Two things i found was that the aerial setup we had, which uses a splitter and a signal booster, was that the aerial was providing a bad picture quality, so running straight to tv and not with the splitter, the picture was greatly enhanced. For our tv box we had another issue which was very similar to the picture quality has the aerial with splitter. Now i have a tendency to always use the bottom hdmi on tv`s which is hdmi 3 to keep cable management tidy has possible, this is where i noticed the issue with quality with the tv box. Changing the cable from hdmi 3 to hdmi 2 solved all issues, so it is clear that there is a issue with hdmi 3 on my specific tv, which is fine for us has we only need one hdmi, so something to watch out for if the picture quality isn`t what you was expecting. Overall the quality of 4k movies and upscaling for non 4k is amazing, and it does it really well, with great picture quality and sometimes if we didn`t know what setting it was we would have thought it was 4k when it was only 1080p, so all the features to enhance quality work really well. For sports, well we found that having sport mode turned on when watching football, seemed to give a water effect around the players when camera is zoomed in on players, so what i found was leaving it set to clear fixed this issue. Not sure about other sports if it still gives a watery effect has i haven`t tested that. Overall though really impressed with how well picture enhancements work and the quality of the picture, would i purchase this item again, the answer would be yes, for the price i think it is a really good deal.

4.5 stars for TV and 3 stars for Amazon.
Amazon. Ordered on Friday, TV delivered free of charge on Sunday (with or without Prime โ same delivery). Glad that the TV was well packed to survive all the cuts and bruises during the delivery. The Amazon delivery guys cared more how to leave as fast as possible rather than abt the TV. If you install it on a higher floor than your ground floor (like me) I advise you to measure carefully if it fits through the stairs and landing. I wanted to buy 98โ or 100โ (the latter was just ยฃ100 extra for the same Hisense model!), but after I practised with a cut-out cupboard I realised that it will not fit unless I cut the ceiling (which I was not allowed to). The biggest disappointment with Amazon however was that the price offered was the same as other retailers, but little did I know that one other retailer provides free 5 year warranty, while when bought from Amazon it is a standard 2 years. Hisense helpline advised that extended 5 years warranty applies only when purchased from that retailer (their Sales Rep failed to mention this to me, which cost him the sale!). This was the biggest disappointment buying from Amazon. TV. Overall, very good quality, but not 5 stars due to the dirty screen effect abt 10-15 cm wide vertical edges on the both sides of the screen. The rest is pretty good in terms of picture quality, sound, connectivity, applications, etc. I did not notice much blooming, which is quite small and you have to look for it. The picture appearance needs to be adjust for different type of input, especially if watching HDR 4k YouTube videos, which enable many setting parameters that otherwise are greyed out on other inputs. I disabled AI adaptation feature because I found it annoying when the picture (say, personโs face) automatically changes its appearance during the same movie scene. Lastly, a very annoying pop up Energy Efficiency Notice every time you press the Picture settings. There are many positive reviews online of this model and I agree with them, except one โ sound quality. The reviewers and especially Sales Reps were telling that this TV needs a soundbar because the built in speakers are rubbish. In my opinion, they are great and do the job lovely. I can enhance bass booster in the settings and in my view no need for extra sound system. To note, my TV is not a wall fixed, but free standing 20-30 cm from the wall, which maybe helps. Also, the sound quality on Satellite and Aerial channels are much better than coming of the connected DVD player. Another observation, the power cable is on the opposite site from all other cables (important for you cable management). I could not pair my iPhone via Bluetooth (other devices like remote controller, headphones, etc are connected OK). My Panasonic DVD Player is 5 years old and it freezes when I select HDMI cable setting on Enhanced, but the problem is solved once the setting is on Automatic. In conclusion, I had a dilemma to choose between U8N 75โ and U7N 85โ for the same price. I chose 7 85โ and do not regret to go large.

Spectacular for the price.
Pound for pound, literally spectacular. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The ease of setup is childsplay. The remote is very simple to use with pictures on the buttons so even my wife can use it. Setup and ready to go, drumroll for the picture quality. I play virtually everything through a sky stream puck on 150mb broadband so it should do just fine, and for just over ยฃ400, boy does it deliver. No matter how bright the room is, the picture is crisp and clear with fantastic colour definition. Although the speakers aren't massive from an output point of view, the sound is clear. Do not think the price is reflective of the quality, it's worth every penny and will put more expensive options to shame. I'm restricted by size due to a housing it needs to fit into and the 50 inch works perfectly. Don't procrastinate, go for it.

Best picture for price avaliable would 100% recommend after over a year of heavy use still perfect.
I spent a very long time comparing tvs and leaning what different technologies actually mean ie, OLED vs QLED ect... 500pounds was a large investment for me at the time so I wanted to know if was spending it right. Iv had this as my main gaming/media TV for about a year now an im happy to say it 100% met expectations. There's been no sign atall of bugs or performance loss over time it still works like day 1 looks absolutely stunning in colour and clarity, if you just want to know your getting the best picture quality for the price in my opinion mini led is absolutely that I think it Evan compairs to the big OLEDs that are three times the price. The only con to this TV is the sound system its not bad but lacks in base for that real cinema vibe but honestly im wearing headphones most of the time gaming and im sure you could spend small on a sound bar and this would be the perfect set up. If your struggling to decide on your next TV like I was I truly believe your not going to get a better picture for the price.

Amazing bang for your buck
Amazing TV for the small price paid. Stunning visuals once set up properly. Small teething problems with internet disconnects, solved by switching off the Bluetooth remote connection.

Ok picture, Many issues incl Viewing Angles/DSE/Faulty Headphone Socket
Note ! This review is for the 50" 50U6NQTUK Model. I'd have loved to give this TV a 5* review. The build quality is great, the picture is good, and the TV speakers are OK, but nothing special. I was looking for a replacement TV for my ageing Sony Bravia. Number 1 requirement for me on a TV is that it has to have a HEADPHONE 3.5 JACK to connect up wired headphones/IEM's etc. I watch movies/TV with IEM's so as the entire household can live in peace. The choice, nowadays, is minimal when choosing a suitable TV for me (with headphone jack). This Hisense model looked the part, so I bought it after much reading of product reviews. I received the TV today, it took an hour or so to set up etc. Then I plugged in my headphones to the 3.5mm Jack. Let me tell you that the level of interference, hum, static present, EVEN when TV volume was set to ZERO, was totally unacceptable. It was, for me, unuseable for my needs. I probably got a bad TV, or maybe it's an issue with this specific model. I have searched around and can see no others with similar problems. update I've overcome the issue with the headphone jack by connecting a headphone amplifier to the SPDIF output on the TV. The sound is now excellent, but the issue with the inbuilt headphone jack is still there. Update 2 Ok, I've had this TV for 3/4 days now. I've lowered the rating to 3 stars from 4. To use this TV at it's maximum you need to sit dead centre of the screen with the middle of the screen at eye level. The viewing angles on this TV are HORRIBLE. Viewing from just 10-20 degrees off makes the screen lose colour depth severely (This seems to be an issue with most lower to midrange TV's of this similar design) My TV also suffers from the "dirty screen effect" or DSE for short. It's not severe in my case, but it's there. About 25% up from the base of the screen exhibits a slighly darker zone compared with the remainder of the screen. It is only noticeable when a band of solid colour is on the screen. I hope it does not get worse. I should have done a lot more research on Mini-LED tv's and especially this one. Would I recommend this TV ? No, BUT DSE is a common problem these days and viewing angle issues are present on most TV's Purchase if you want, but please take note of my issues. The panel lottery issue with TV's is a common issue. If you want to check your TV out for DSE, load any youtube video with a title of "Grey Uniformity Test" . Those videos will quickly show you how bad/good your TV is. Update 3. I am returning this item, due to the DSE solid dark bar at the base of the screen. I just can't unsee it, and it ruins the viewing experience, on movies, for me. In all honesty it's not going to improve and it may well get far worse. I feel this is the only logical step forward for me.
