Best .155" Line for Brush!
This is absolutely the best trimmer line for a .155" trimmer I've found, as, in high/thick weeds:* the original round line just breaks almost immediately* the Rino Tuff yellow triangular line doesn't cleanly cut all the 3/4" weed stalks and ends up wrapping them around the axle, requiring a lot of effort to get them untangled and start mowing again* The Gatorline square green line cuts right through heavy weedsAlthough at this point, tall weeds will completely cover the machine, stopping forward progress. And backing up just re-chops the fallen stalks, breaking the line before long. This line is much thicker than the triangular Rino Tuff line and lasts far longer than the .155" Club Cadet line (which feels like half it's diameter).Any larger and it wouldn't be able to thread, yet the large size is a benefit, and the square edges make it easier:1. thread one end a short distance through the eye2. twist the square line at the other end so that the loop points downward (toward the hook opening)3. jamb it up against the other end that is already threaded and it slips right through4. grab both ends and pull togetherIt lasts longest if you cut just the base of the weeds and keep moving - even this line cannot handle re-chopping all the debris and that's when it breaks (after re-chopping long stalks a few times). It can break every 10 min. in heavy weeds with thick stalks. But in tall grass and softer weeds, it will last over a half hour and cut a half acre without breaking. It can still get tangled up, at least using the Club Cadet 22", which seems powerful, but possibly needs a higher RPM to cut thicker weeks of 0.5-1.0". The photo shows what can happen when the weeds are too thick and you can't keep moving forward. (This rarely happens with the Gatorline .155", but happens every few seconds with the Rino Tuff.)But if you want to re-chop the fallen weeks, this is still the best line I've tried for clearing a few acres.

Great value
I have to be honest and say that I work my high-wheeled string trimmer very hard - mowing a couple of acres of field that sometimes runs me up against some brushy plants and vines that break the strings and sometimes the trimmer head itself. I buy trimmer line in bulk and have tried several varieties, but always "twisted" varieties, which all have about the same breaking strength and durability. This string is square, which seems to be more durable. I'll speculate that it's more durable because the square shape provides more of a cutting edge that works better on my field vegetation than the more rounded edges of the twisted varieties. For grass, pretty much any type seems to perform well. So, I have to say, relatively speaking, that "I love it", and the price was good, too. I still await the unbreakable trimmer line. Though I expect one can be manufactured that is unbreakable, it would be the quick route to driving one's self out of business!

Oregon Gatorline
I have tried several different brands of .155 string for my high-wheel weed eater. This square green Oregon line is by far the toughest I've found. It holds up much better than any of the others. Of course none of them will hold up to a wire fence but the Oregon will tackle tiny mesquites & other woody weeds & survive better than any of the others I've used.........

Cuts better but is more brittle than round string
I use this on my Echo Bear Cat WT190 trimmer mower. I am comparing this to the round .130 mil pre-cut string that came with the Bear Cat. I have over 600 yards of fence line (x 2 sides) that are overgrown with grass, ferns, blackberries, brush, and small trees not to mention the barbed wire that is sometimes close to the ground. It should be no surprise that the thicker .155 square string cuts better in both grass and the thicker brush. However, it was interesting that the square line would break off more close to the attachment point where the thinner round string would just wear down. In fact, I put on one string of the .130 round and one string of the .155 square on opposite sides of the trimmer and found that I had to replace the square line 3 to 4 times more often than the .130 round. The round would wear away at the ends and get shorter where the square would just break off. Of course in this test the square string was doing the cutting work against the thick stuff and the round was just glancing off it. Overall pleased with this string, just have to have a lot pre-cut and ready to swap out when cutting the thick stuff.

Works great on cub cadet
Works great on my cub cadet and lasts awhile. Will tear up a chain link fence and be careful around trees too will rip up the bark.I use the pro grey on my string trimmers will try that when I run out of this Green line. All good so far. I tie wrap a couple extras around the handle arms for when they finally give up.Can handle some heavy thick stuff.

Assassination of Weeds
The weed assassinator... Just make sure your engine is big enough to handle it. I'm using it on a 35cc Honda trimmer with an echo 3 line rapid loader head.

Brittle and rigid
The line breaks quickly when using in a field for heavy cutting. It also won't straighten out. I pre-cut to length for my cub cadet walk behind trimmer and put extra pieces in a storage pipe I mounted to the handle. The pre-cuts are so rigid they will not stay in the 2" abs pipe. They fall out all over the field.

very good trimmer line
Cut into lengths to use on Cub Cadette trimmer on wheels. Very hardy and works great. Much less expensive than buying pre-cut. I live in the country and frequently cut heavy weeds and brush. I highly recommend.

Unbelievably good line
I cut 1 1/2 acre cottage property. Rocks, stumps and saplings scatter the area. I’m on the third cut with the original 4 pieces of this line. Unbelievable really. The thinner orange line would have been replaced 6-9 times already. Definitely worth the investment.
