A love/hate relationship
I have used this stove twice a day for 10 days while camping, the stove is nearly perfection as it holds pot/pans much more sturdy than the bottle-top camp stoves which I have used over the years. It adjusts very low which is a bonus as others have stated and that is exactly what is needed while camp cooking. The bottle-top stoves put out way too much btu's and no one ever cooks with them on high heat or even medium heat, and getting that style to adjust "down" to simmer can be a task. This burner puts out about half the advertised 8000 btu, it is more like (4000 btu) of which you likely will never even need 4000 for camp cooking, it is acually an added bonus imo because 8k btu's on a single burner is never needed. The love/hate relationship comes down to the adjustment knob itself, it has no (resolution) only the first 10% of travel has any functionality, meaning as soon as you first open the valve you are basically on high and can trim the flame level down from that point, but 90% of the knobs travel has no effect whatsoever on flame adjustment, it simply does nothing at all for 90% of its ajustment range. The real problem is that the knob has no OFF detent and it spins as easy as one of those finger spinner toys that you buy at the convenience store check out line, lol. If you bump the knob in the slightest little way it will open and release gas. If you want to be sure that does not happen you will have to unscrew the hose from the stove end everytime you use it, which one would normally only do during transport. Leaving this hose attached while traveling in a campervan could be quite unwise as road vibrations alone is enough to open the valve on its own because it is too easy to turn and there is no "OFF" detent The knob needs an off detent and it would be perfect, other than the fact that 90% of the knobs range of travel has no effect at all on flame height, that can be overlooked as camp-stove cooking is more all about how low you can go flame wise, which this exceptionally does just that. The stove is awesome, the knob/valve is like a prize you would find in the bottom of a cracker-jack box... the valve is very mickey-mouse for how quality the rest of the stove actually is.

Compact.
First time I used it one of the igniters stopped working. There is no high or low settings for the flame. Nice and compact.

Amazing stove even lights in the rain!!!
Camped in an Oklahoma storm and a Texas storm. Camp stove was great. Got caught in the rain and had not put the stove away so it was drenched and still raining. Tested to see if it would light in the rain! YES IT DID. Was able to reheat toast and sausage on the grill. Just love the design and the weight of the stove and size were easy for this 67 year old camper with a bad shoulder. Highly recommend this product. Be sure and buy the case, it is nice too. This stove was used for our organization so other people with no camping experience were able to use the stove without guidance. Flame turns up and down as needed.
