The wood bowl looks awesome and really has character. The pipe comes with the accessories needed to keep the pipe in good working condition. I like that it comes with some cage screens to make the bowl the right depth for specific preferences. I end up using both of the cage screens to effectively reduce the bowl in half while still allowing for good smoke flow. I would definitely recommend getting a pipe stand since the shape of this pipe makes it prone to falling over easily.

Just got this pipe today. Swapped the brown stem out for the black one and the shank cracked even though I was slow, and turning it as I pushed it into place.I'll try and use this as a tester pipe, but I don't think I'll buy another obetis pipe.

This is a simple pipe in kind of a corn cob style. It comes with 2 stems and all the accessories you need to get started. It’s a great one to carry around as well because of its small size. It’s sturdy and nice looking solid wood, a good quality pipe.

I opened the box and tried to change the stem. Very difficult removing the brown stem it came with. I tried to insert the black stem that also came with it. The shank cracked on both sides. Had it for all of 30 seconds. Might be a decent pipe, I wouldn’t know. Definitely fragile.

Had a smoke from this pipe, it was great. Went to change the mouthpiece, to try the other that it came with. Old mouth peice was able to get out, upon inserting new mouth peice, pipe splintered and broke. Received new pipe, still very hard to change mouth piece. Decent pipe, but if you are looking to put filters in, and or, switching the mouth peice, very hard to do.

This is a nice wooden tobacco pipe in a straight style that comes with two stems, a plain brown stem and a black stem with gold ring. It comes packaged in a nice box with an interesting assortment of accessories.The extra stem is a nice touch. Both are tight fits. Interestingly, the stems take 9mm filters instead of the more common 6mm size. It comes with ten filters, but I suggest picking up some more with the first purchase of pipe tobacco. Alternately, you can get a 9mm to 6mm converter insert to use the more common 6mm pipe filters.Also included is a pretty standard 3-in-1 pipe tool. This is a handy tool that has a packing tool, a pick, and a scraper. I use the packing piece the most but the pick can come in handy if it gets packed too tightly.A butner-style pipe reamer is also included. This is to remove some of the cake that accumulates in the bowl and to keep it in good working order. This is something that is rarely used and I personally don't think it is necessary.Another unnecessary inclusion in my opinion is the mesh pipe screens. These are unnecessary for smoking tobacco. In effect, these make the bowl smaller but they are hard to retrieve and clog easily. A good three-step packing technique is far better than any bowl gadgets.Also included are two rubber bite rings, a set of pipe cleaners and a velvet pipe bag.The pipe finish is fairly plain, at least in the one I received. There is no real figure to the wood visible.The grain is mostly hidden. So while it will not win any awards for beauty, the bowl is a uniform shade of brown and it appears to be well made.After breaking in the bowl with a few smokes, the pipe performed as expected. It really is a good value for the price.Overall, this pipe would be great as a starter set for someone just getting into tobacco pipes. It has comes with a comprehensive set of tools, some more useful than others, that make for a good head start. Considering the price for this set, I think this is a really good deal.
