Tasty, Filling, Chewy! Perfect snack!
I've tried a couple of other plant based jerkys before and this is now my favorite! It's surprisingly filling. Just a couple of bites can hit the spot, so it's a perfect snack. It's chewy just like a jerky. I love that the ingredients are really clean. I also love that it doesn't make your hands sticky like some other vegan jerkys, so perfect to take on the go. And the flavor is YUM. The original flavor is by far my favorite - it's super flavorful without being overpowering. I love the Sweet & Hot flavor too - the perfect little kick and great taste. Teriyaki was really good too, but I'd almost prefer it to have just a bit more punch in it, but still really good. Lastly, I love that it's soy-free and am recommending it to a friend with a soy allergy!

Different but not bad
Its my first time trying out "vegan" jerky and it surprised me a little bit. First of all it looks very different from normal beef jerky, it sort of like little squares, almost like its leather cut in small pieces. Some of the pieces where thicker than the others but not as thick as beef jerky. The texture in hand is weird also, they feel like they could crumble if I bunch them up.The smell I think they got it right because they do smell smokey, and if it were by smell alone I wouldn't tell between beef jerky or this plant based one.Now the taste in the mouth when chewing it up is where everything is different. The taste is different, it's very lacking compared to normal spiced beef jerky. You don't get that chewiness from dried smoked meat, it almost feels like chewing leather or something like that. It's less fulfilling than normal jerky but it gets the job done. The after taste is just like beef jerky, you get that smoky aftertaste which I like.I like that now there are vegan friendly foods that compare with almost any meat based food. Of course is not the same but they are still high in proteins which is a good thing and the taste is not that bad for something that's trying to imitate another completely different thing.

Delicious, great texture, satisfying
I've been eating vegan 'jerky' since it was called 'fruit leather'. It's so great to have actual options these days. This stuff beats the pants off the many others that I have tried, it's super flavorful with satisfying texture and high protein. Great for road trips or as a trail snack. My non-vegan friends liked it too. I'll be getting more soon.

Tastes good, a bit of a tough chew
These vegan jerky packs all tasted pretty good, for my brother he loved it, but for me it would have been more enjoyable if it was less harder. Still a nice way to snack and reach our protein goals.

Best Plant-Based Jerky Out There
I have been a vegetarian for longer than I count and was always skeptical of planted based jerky, but this stuff is the real deal! Tastes good and has lots of protein to keep me going with my active life style. 10/10 will buy this again!!!

Good for vegan jerky
I'm not a vegan, so I'll be comparing this to meat jerky, but this is probably the best plant jerky I've had. The teriyaki smell is good, on par with meat jerky, but the taste is a bit more muted. The teriyaki is rather mild, and it lacks the flavor of meat to back it up, so it ends up feeling a bit dull. It's still satisfying to eat, but not exciting. It doesn't have any off-tastes that reminded me of peas that I could detect, so this could probably pass for an unusual jerky if you didn't know it was made from plants. The texture is probably the least meat-like. It's tough and hard at first, but quickly turns to mush with just a little chewing, with little of the fibrousness or fattiness you get from meat.Overall, I actually like it. I'm going to give it 5 stars for being a good vegan jerky, but please understand this is just rating it as a vegan jerky. I probably won't end up ordering more because compared to the meat jerky I usually buy, this falls short in both taste and value. This single bag is barely big enough to qualify as a snack, so I'd only really recommend it as a sample to see if you would enjoy it.

It's decent
If you've ever had a plant-based jerky before, this is no different. The main ingredient is pea protein, and you can kinda tell from the taste. It's not as strong as in something like a protein powder, but it's definitely there. They've decided to make this product soy-free, which also means no soy sauce, which is a shame. That aside, the flavor is okay, albeit a bit weak... they really could've done more to give this a more authentic jerky flavor. That said, you shouldn't be focused on the flavor, but the great macros. One bag is four grams of fat, six grams of carbs, and twenty-three grams of protein. It's a shame that it comes in a non-recyclable package... but hey, at least they recommend resuing the bag.

This bundle is cheaper than buying them individually, but it's still pretty pricey for just 3 small bags, so it's hard to recommend.
