After 60 years as an enthusiast, I know that every variable changes Hi Fi sound. As far as these plugs are concerned I think that is secondary to the great way they lock cables into place. No more fiddling with little screws that either screw through their thread housing and don't grip anything, or won't screw in far enough, or strip their heads and threads. I wish these had been invented decades ago. Sure you can pay silly money for audiophile connectors, and that is a fair decision. But honestly life is too short to fiddle endlessly. And while I'm here I'd like to recommend the triple ball bearing loudspeaker feet you can find here. You'll probably need short reducers to go from M8 (foot) to M6 (speaker), but the effort is well worth it. Very highly recommended at around £22 per speaker. I was amazed at the improvement in my already good system. Enjoy!

These are the best Banana Plugs I’ve used, and I’ve had a try at quite a few. The fitting of the speaker cable is superb, with the cable actually crimping around the serrated section inside. Why can’t they all fit this way! Feels so much more secure, along with the benefit of the screwing together being so much less likely to come apart. I fitted these with some 4mm copper cable from Kablesdirekt and they seem to be a perfect match. Previously had some Cambridge audio silver cable with a more expensive banana plug but wanted to give these a try and I’m glad I did. Feel very secure and fit nicely in the speaker connections too. Will be purchasing more to do the other set ups.

Decent product, easy to put together and actually seemed to improve the sound a touch over connecting the wire directly to the speaker. Feel good quality.

These plugs are great, they have a nice weight to them and they hold a cable really securely. I've bought a few now and have zero complaints. I actually don't use them for speakers, but for connecting shortwave (ham) radios to power supplies - they are perfect.

I have bought several different banana plugs in my time and have always hated the type they hold with screws. These seems to give a great contact and hold very firm. Just make sure you’re not taking too much off the ends of the cable or else it’s a squeeze to get on. Haven’t had any audio issues and everything is still solid 3 months down the line.

I have yet to use these long term but I haeve been using cheap banana plugs on my other speakers which I believed were good but after two years I see they are just gold plated aluminium. Anyway I made a big mistake two weeks ago and when I was ordering these I only ordered 4 instead of 8 for two speakers. I replaced my rear speakers that were direct connected with the speaker cable to my SONY STR DN-1020 and I needed BANANA Plugs that are good quality. I had a mixture of these NAKAMICHI banana plugs and the cheaper ones. The cheaper ones on one speaker and these on the other speaker with 12 guage OFC cable. Once I sat down and I listened to the speakers I Immediately noticed a big difference between the two. The cheaper ones sounded good to my ears for the last two years and I would have never thought that the makeup of the banana plugs would make a difference in sound because I'm not one of those audiophile people. Out of curiosity I decided to go with these because I saw a few people raving about NAKAMICHI fanlock banana plugs. These aren't even on high end expensive speakers. Theyre connected to a pair of POLK AUDIO ES10 speakers and even with those speakers I could notice a noticable clarity difference between the two banana plugs. I wouldn't usually spend a lot of money on audio gear because of the laws of diminishing returns. But it was well worth buying these. When putting the speaker cable into these make sure you don't cut too much of a sleeve off the speaker cable. It says a half inch but I found that to be a tiny bit too much and I couldn't spread the copper cable into the inside in a way the top would screw onto it. Cut just under a half inch of sleeve off the cable. I have 12 more ordered to replace the cheap banana plugs on my other 3 speakers in my 5.1 system.

Liked these banana plugs, looks sturdy and good grip. though little costly but worth one time investment.

These work well in my system. It's not a high end system so I can't comment on super high fidelity. They look well made, feel solid, I could not detect any degradation in sound. I use 12 AWG and the setup was not hard after the first two and seems to be a solid electrical and physical connection between the wire and the plug. I like the fan lock idea which seems secure but realize that this is the only physical connection. A more secure physical connection would be an additional clamp on the insulated portion of the wire. As long as no one pulls on the wire instead of the plug they should be OK. They fit securely into my Yamaha amp. I used an ohm meter to test the conductivity of the outer shells and found that they are not conductive. I don't have experience with other banana plugs so I can't compare but I'm extremely happy with these.

I upgraded my living room set-up and decided to go with connectors being wired Bi-Amp. I used a pure copper 12-Ga wire and it fits well with a slight looseness, a 10-Ga should fit snug. Installation is easy, just take your time to spread wires evenly. I had to disassemble two wires like 5 times, the connectors disassembled easily and reconnected with no issue with a fresh wire cut. I cannot hear or notice any loss in signal. System is Bowers and Wilkins. I recommend.

Good and easy to attach to cables, mounting system makes them very difficult to remove/misplace, making the cable management a breeze now.
