Made well and 2.5 inches thick. and they DONT smell like chemicals!
Never mind my 3 stars ratings above. the above questions are too subjective. ( Yes the " noise cancellation" is excellent I bought one of these and glued it on to my private 747 jet airplane and it does seem a little quieter now.) All joking aside. These do what they are supposed to do and are among the the best I've worked with. My only complaint: I wish they made them in more colors, even if the color ones cost a little more. I'm using these in my living room, some off white, possibly beige, just some neutral colors, I think there's a market there. It seems to me when ever these compnaies do offer color they over do it. The product screams at you, Bright yellow, orange, and purple that looks more like Beets the vegetable. I don't want beets and oranges and vegetables all over my walls. Anyway, these work great and there high quality not like others I've seen that fall apart at the edges. also they're unique 2 and 1/2 inch thickness is a big plus, most companies are either one inch or 2 inch. Plus they don't use compressed packaging, like most of the competitors. Solid all around product!

What? I can’t hear you…
I don’t usually leave reviews but this product knocked it out of the park. Busy apartment so “soundproofing” my office area and the space in the dining room where my preteen and I sleep. I purchased the 1”x12x12 squares from another company first and was not impressed. I decided to give this a try based on the reviews and the difference is incredible. My pre-teen’s area is under my loft bed, so I put two sound proofing sheets on the underside of my bed. Two sides are open, the front and one side, and even so the sheets completely cut out the sound of the HVAC system and turtle tank bubbler. I put a couple by my office and it dampens the sound hugely. I’ve already put in an order for 3 more boxes to finish my kiddo’s area, do my upper area close to the ceiling, and put a couple in my teen’s room so they can stop keeping me up being noisy at night. I’m thrilled to have found a solution that lets me sleep peacefully, sound more professional at work, and give my kids just a teeny bit of privacy. Put them in place with nails, didn’t have success with hanging strips or the tacky stuff. 100% worth it.

Great Product - Great Service
I am very happy with the product and thrilled about the service. The original product was lost by the USPS. The company promptly sent me a replacement without any fuss or hassles. I would buy from them again. The noise cancellation is very good. It doesn't totally eliminate the noise but it definitely reduces it significantly. I am using it to reduce my furnace noise and I am pleased with the results.

Excellent Acoustical Treatment
This foam does exactly what it's supposed to do - It's an excellent ACOUSTICAL TREATMENT. That's in all caps because some have given poor reviews for "soundproofing". By its very design, foam is not a soundproofing medium - it's porous. By and large, soundproofing involves nonporous materials. That said, this will reduce the db level of sounds (especially higher frequencies) escaping a space because it minimizes vibration of hard surfaces and certainly does in my studio. Low frequencies are much more difficult to control with foam, however (research bass traps and soundproofing if that's your goal). You can hear and feel the lack of echo in the room when you walk in. In the photos I provided, you can see these hanging on the upper half of opposing walls. Compared with the ATS hanging below them, the Foamily product is much more dense. The high density means adhesives actually stick to them, vs the ATS, which needed to be screwed into the wall.I gave four stars instead of five because while the pieces are cut exactly to specs, the peak and valley pattern is not well aligned with the edges, so it looks a little wonky. If you're a type-A person, this might be a deal-breaker. I'm willing to live with it because they do function as expected and are a good value. Also keep in mind for larger applications it's far easier to hang eight of these 24"X48" units than it is to hang 64 of the 12"X12" squares. Doing the quick math - it takes 1/8th of the time. This four-pack arrived in a slightly larger than 2'X4' box, containing four pieces. They were flat - not folded, or rolled up.Foamily, if you're reading this - You could probably achieve a higher rating if you stated clearly in your product description that this is not a soundproofing material.

Perfect Panels
I ordered these a while before I needed them. They arrived neatly packed in a box. Not folded up or flattened, wrapped in plastic and stuffed in a box. like 2 others I ordered and returned because they were not cut right or did not inflate properly. These are the perfect panels. They are not mushy, they have a stiffness that enables them to be applied to the wall flawlessly. There is no adhesive backing, which I prefer because I use strips. I have been waiting for them to return! They have not and it's been months! They are 2.5 inches thick, which is thicker than most. I can't rave enough about them. My hope is that the supplier sees the review and returns to sell them again. I have waited as long as possible so I have to purchase another brand because I need the studio up and running now, and I need 6-8 more large panels. But I will keep checking. If I see these in stock I will happily purchase again and swap them out. Bring these foam panels back! I wish someone could let me know when they return. But don't everyone buy them at once. At least not until I get my next 2 ordered first!

I just ordered another pack!
These are great foams if you're looking to help soundproof your space. Yes, they might be a bit pricier than others ($80 at this time of review), but you get 4 packs of 48x24 which equals to 32 packs of 12x12. Personally, I just love the fact that they're also 2.5" in thickness compared to the average 1" to 2" thick ones, and they also come flat instead of rolled up.I think the quality is great and hopefully they will stay up well over a long period of time.
