French Troops Paratrooper Watchband,Military Elastic Nylon Watch Strap with Hook-and-Loop for Men Women Silver & Black Buckle 18/20/22mm

This is a well made and extremely comfortable watch strap at a reasonable price, I will definitely buy more.

Good quality elasticated material, colour as shown, size is spot on fitting it is simplicity itself and it looks and feels good and comfortable for a full days wear. My issue (and it might just be me not having the knackered) is getting the kook and eye attachment connected when I put it on. I need an extra hand to hold out the loop part from being flush to the elastic to allow the hook to catch onto it easily. The hook part is comparatively thick and rounded at the end so it doesn't readily catch and slide into place. I can spend a good couple of minutes hooking and missing before I get lucky. Hence 1 star off. But on first impressions I expect this strap to last well and keep looking and feeling good while it does.

Fits well, though if you had little wrists you might find it too loose on max adjustment. Looks great though, and better in real life than the photos. Like that you can just stretch it over your wrist when putting on, rather than do the buckle each time (which I did find a bit fiddly). Very pleased, compliments my Sea-Gull 1963 beautifully

Good quality but quite thin

Firstly this is not a 'French Paratroopers Watchstrap' its a nylon-ish watchstrap probably made with millions of others in a factory in China. By the way, nothing wrong with that. However, this strap is annoying to put on the watch in that it doesn't just pass through the shoulder pins like every other Nato style strap I have purchased, you have to remove the pins to secure it - easy with a two part strap, but not a looped strap like this one. Also very fiddly to secure the buckle. I should send it back but have put in on a Vostok watch I don't wear very often. Check the wording and buy a strap with a conventional buckle which passes through the pins instead of removing them.

Bought for a Casio A1000. A little bit fiddly to install but once sized up its very secure and comfortable. In fact I think I will replace all my NATO straps with these, more secure and the watch sits closer to the skin.

I don’t like NATO straps or ZULU straps that have a double thickness between the wrist and the watch. They don’t offer any benefit over this strap. Comfortable, more so than either the ubiquitous NATO or ZULU for two reasons. The first is the elastic strap offers an element of stretch without compromising security. Second is that adjustment is not restricted to hole spacing. In function easy to install and easy to adjust. Attaching the hook to the buckle takes a bit of practice but once you get the gist you can do it in the dark. I’d love an Erika’s original version and I bought this seeing if I could get along with the day to day use, before splurging a LOT of money on the original design. The quality is good. Elastic is uniform in resistance along the length, good quality of stitching and the colour is as depicted. The amount of stretch is just about perfect. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money (£75!) on the ‘genuine’ Erika version only to find it didn’t fit my needs, hence my purchase of this version. Is this version value for money? For me it is. At the end of the day it’s a piece of elastic with a buckle and a hook. At the price of the Amazon version it’s worth it. It’s easy to put on the watch, it’s comfortable, it looks good and it’s secure. Would the genuine version be any better in Functionality? I doubt it. It’s a piece of knicker elastic dressed up in camo gear with a camo t shirt and a tattooed forearm. In conclusion, would I buy this again? Yes and I did - bought the 22mm version for my Seiko 7548 Diver - the coolest watch ever made. Have I subsequently bought the Erika version? Honest answer no. Functionality it can’t get any better. A higher price would be silly.

Sehr geiles Ding! Ich hatte lange nach einem alternativen Armband für meine Smart Watch geschaut und das ist meine TIPTOP Lösung! Warum? ich bin übergwichtig und mir passen meistens die Armbänder nicht, oder sie sind so eng das ich das Gefühl habe mein Blutfluss zu meine Hand wird abgeschnitten. Zudem habe ich die Smartwatch ja um meine Sportlichen Leistungen zu dokumentieren, sprich man schwitzt halt auch mal am Handgelenk. Genau hier lag das Problem mit den normalen oder mitgelieferten Armbändern bei Uhren, der Schweis konnte nicht weg und ich bekam regelmäßig Ausschlag bzw. gereizte und gerötete Haut dort wo das Armband war. Mit diesem tollen elastischen Stoffband, habe ich endlich etwas gefunden was sich superleicht auf der haut anfühlt und meine Hand nicht abschnürt. ich vergesse oft das ich die uhr um habe und suche die dann... und selbst bei mehreren Tagen Tagen der Smartwatch bekomme ich keine Rötungen mehr und habe meine sportliche Leistung immer im Blick. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist das meine Smwartwatch nun den Puls nicht mehr messen kann, was aber auch klar ist, die Smartwatch hat nun keinen direkten Kontakt mehr zur Haut, da ist das Armband zwischen. Das sollte man vor dem Kauf wissen. Da es technisch nicht die Schuld des Armbandes ist, hier auch kein Punktabzug. Alles in Allem bin ich sehr froh das Armband gefunden zu haben! und meine Handgelenke danke es mir jeden Tag :)

Great design and fit. Orange is a bit dull but not a deal breaker at all. A true Nato strap in the sense that if your spring bar ever broke, the watch would leave neither your wrist nor the strap.
