BIC Grip Stick Roller Ball Pen, Micro Fine Point (0.5 mm), Black, 12 Pens (GREM11BK)

Nice feel and grip for the pen. I dont like skinny pens, and really over sized ones are pretty silly and useless. this one is the goldilocks version- not to skinny not to fat. It writes well and evenly. A good all around pen.

These are some of the nicest pens Bic makes. I used them in law school, and even today when I can afford more expensive pens, I often still enjoy using these. Most Chinese-made pens have terrible bad habits, especially in the finer widths - not these. They also feel very nice to write with - the grip is highly satisfactory.

The pens themselves are good but the packaging and delivery was crap. The box was open on both sides with only 11 pens instead of 12.

I included a photo of the beginning of my journal entry today (about 30 minutes after they arrived) so that you can actually see how it looks on paper. I am left handed and it is hard to find a pen I truly like. The ink is dark and writes very smooth. I also like the grip on the pen, it is very comfortable. I bought the 12 pack of BIC Grip Roller pens on June 28th for $7.99 (US dollars) with free Prime shipping and received them before noon on June 30th. I didn't even mind that they came out of the box and were just loose in the padded envelope. I was just happy to have my favorite pens again so I can get back to writing. I use these pens all the time. I cannot find them in stores anymore, so I was very glad to find them on Amazon. I know all my fellow left handed people have been reading this and waiting for me to answer THE question. The question about the problem left handed people have when it comes to writing... Does it smear? NO! It doesn't smear. Finally a pen other than those plain, boring, light ink ball point pens. I keep notebooks and pens with me all the time because I am constantly writing lists or taking notes or writing reminders for myself and I really prefer these pens. The only thing that I think could be improved is the size/grip. I really love the size and grip of the Dr. Grip pen, but I prefer the way the BIC Grip Roller writes. Increasing the girth of the pen would increase the time you could write before your hand cramps up. But I can write for hours the way the pen is now. I did not get anything for writing this review, I just genuinely like this pen!

These pens have been a pleasant surprise. Although labeled as "fine point," they actually write like a medium, which is quite comfortable. They don't have that "scratchy" feel on smooth paper like other pens. I've had good luck with these pens, and their consistent performance makes them essential in my daily life.

The pens do not write fluidly for me on cheap notebook paper, which is what I use daily for note-taking. The ink often breaks as I write and I find myself having to re-line words. They write much better on thicker and smoother paper, on one hand because the ink just flows better; on the other hand, the ink doesn't leak through on thicker paper. These are nice pens but they don't suit all types of paper. I do have a concern about the ink getting everywhere. I kept one pen capped in a compartment in my backpack. After some traveling and movements, the pen had leaked ink inside the cap (no explosions). On a positive note, I love the grip on the pen.

I LOVE pens. I am obsessed with pens and my collection is a little ridiculous. These pens are my current favorite because they write so well. When I let people borrow these pens they always comment on how well they write. I have been looking for these pens but I can never find them in stores. I am so glad I found them here for a good price.

I rarely write reviews but if you're looking to buying this pen think again. The reason for really disliking this pen is because half way through writing a letter it stops writing. Every other Bic products is a 5 stars product and I will continue to buy Bic products but this pen is awful.
