Commercial Door Closer – Heavy Duty Grade 1 Automatic Door Closer for Commercial Use - Auto Hydraulic Spring Hinge - FS-7600 UL & ADA ANSI A156.4 Door Closers Spring Closure Arm Self Closing

works great. easy to install.

Installation was a breeze once I realized I could just follow the template for the way I wanted to install it. The instructions felt a bit overwhelming and there wasn't a chart showing what screws went where which was a bit frustrating but easy enough to figure out after getting started. After some adjustments with the the sweep the door closes much better than it did with my old unit and I couldn't be happier.

I got the non latching one for a very heavy secondary garage door. Works perfectly.

I was looking around for a long time for a good quality and good price door closer and I eaither find a too cheap one or a really expensive one so I bought one that is expensive but it was to big for my door frame so I return it then I got a slightly smaller one form Fortress company and I was amazed by how good there quality and there customer support but unfortunately that machine was big as well for my door frame so I return it and I get this one and I'm glad that I found out about this company there stuff quilty is really really really really good and I wrote this big review because when I was buying there product I couldn't find enough reviews to make sure I'm buying a good item so I'm writing this for whom was not sure if they should buy this brand or not I would say I highly recommend buying any product from the Fortress Company

Installed by contractors, works great!

The installation instructions are easy to read and understand even comes with a template for all three ways to install and for both left and right handed doors. It was very easy to see which way was going to work with my door. My only complaint is they don't explain what screws are what and when they are used. Also upon trying to put the arm on like the instructions says (parallel arm for a right hand door, pinion flat at b) it didn't match up quite right, the arm was pushing into the door, so we improvised and switched it. I personally stood for hours trying to figure out what all the screws were for and why the arm wasn't right. I finally gave up and gave it over to my boyfriend who put it up in 30 minutes! We used it on our backdoor so now I don't have to worry about the kids leaving it wide open in this heat or the dog getting out! It's working great cant tell it's there and shuts the door fully without snapping shut on our heels! So far it has saved me from having to run outside after the dog about 10 times just today!

Not only was this extremely easy to install, but they also send true to size templates, so you know exactly where to drill. The company also sends a follow up email so that if you have any questions or concerns you can contact their customer support easily. I felt like that not only reassured me that i could contact them if I had any issues, but also gave me the impression that they are very conscientious about customer satisfaction. This hinge is perfect for when I’m carrying in a little one and groceries, and can’t pull the door closed behind me. It’s simple to adjust and isn’t bulky like I was anticipating. The only thing I think could improve the product/packaging is to maybe include step by step picture instructions for those that can’t follow written instructions as well. Otherwise it is a great product.

Fast delivery and item was exactly perfect
