Replacement EAC64CL 64 -Inch Detachable Earphone Cable for Shure SE215, SE315, SE425 SE535 and SE846 Earphones (Clear)

A perfect replacement for my SE215 in-ears. It performs sound-wise well and the ear support fits good. It plugs right in to the earbud and will save you the price of a whole new set of in-ears.

NOONE TELLS YOU THE CABLE IS USUALLY THE PROBLEM- this is a great alternative to buying a whole new set of In-ears. Cable is a bit shorter than what may come with your actual inears but it does the job. Keeps a clean sound, quality is good, no connection issues and great way to save yourself a good amount of money.

This cable is legit, especially for the price. Some reviewers stated they did not like the stiffness of the cables around the user's ear. However, for me, I actually prefer this cable to the OEM cable. The added rigidity helps keep the earbuds in my ears. The OEM cable was significantly more flexible, but also didn't hold the earbuds in quite as snugly. I've only used this for two Sunday services now, so time will tell how it holds up. At the price, I think it'll be a good value.

I've been using the Shure MMCX cables for quite a while. But I have noticed a recurring quality issue where they become wonky at the 1/8" connector so I decided to try a different manufacturer. I've only used these briefly but I like them enough that I've already added a 2nd set into my Amazon cart. I really like the way they snap into the MMCX receptacle of my IEMs. It is a very noticeable click. They sound great, no noticeable signal loss. And it's nice not to contend with the crackly sound of the wonky connector of my current Shure cable. The moldable ear loop also seems to hold its shape pretty well. Why only 4 stars? 2 reasons, both shown in the photos. -1, there is no color indicator to denote left from right. On another brand of MMCX cable (shown side by side with these) there is a small red rubber band to clearly indicate the right connector. These have very, very hard to read "R" and "L" embedded on them. -2, the little doohickey that you use to tighten up the slack where the L and R separate is really loose. I run these cables down my back (and when on stage, down the back of my shirt to keep them out of the way). This little retainer is so loose that it slides down while in use. That is 1 place the Shure cable excels: once you set that retainer where you want it, it stays put. These are 2 small issues that would be very easy for the manufacturer to address. They were not issue enough to prevent me from buying a 2nd set, but I do think the #2 item above will become somewhat annoying for me over time.

My Shure IEMs started having connection issues very shortly after buying them. From the get-go, the MCX jacks seemed loose. Over time both sides had very poor connection, I was worried it might be the headphones themselves, but figured I'd try a new cable first. All audio connection problems are fixed, as the quality of this cable is much better than what came with the original headphones. It bends better, and most importantly, the MCX jacks are very tight fitting. This not only gives a better connection, a more durable connection, but also helps keep the earphones in place during any activity. Shure needs to up their game because this is an off-brand cable and it's much better.

Brand new and works just the ones it came with. It is wise to buy a couple of these and keep on hand. At first I thought how could an in ear costing more than normal give problems already but cabling is always an issue. So remember always change cabling before the in ears

A mi parecer, es buen producto en comparación precio/calidad con los originales; desde hace tiempo tengo mis SE215 y son compatibles con este cable. El original que se hizo verde con el paso del tiempo y se rompió, tiene algunas diferencias con este en cuanto a algunas cosas que se pueden notar en las fotos, pero no se pierde la calidad de audio al ponértelos, el cual era mi temor, pero prácticamente es como si fueran los originales. 100% recomendables si buscas algo que no afecte tu sonido y que sirva para darles nueva vida a los in ears que tienes guardados.

Replacement cable for my Shure Se215. Snug fitting to the buds, means they don't rotate as freely, and the over ear wire hasn't settled in properly yet, but expect both will be ok with some use. Not perfect, but does the job.
