I work from home in a cramped little space spending most of my days on the computer for work and obsessive [tech] pleasure. It helps me to at least stand and work, and as I could squeeze in a treadmill, walk and work. I bought a Quest Pro especially for this purpose and it worked well (Virtual Desktop now that it supports multiple monitors, and Immersed). When I switched to a Quest 3 I wanted to carry over some of the benefits of the Quest Pro - the halo style headset and optional light blocking. Btw - my head is rather on the large side. After a little research/YouTube reviews I went for Globular Cluster for the CMQ3 Comfort mod, and the magnetic facial interfaces (also on Amazon) ... and then I also ordered the silicon interface too from Globular Cluster. I'm extremely happy with all purchases. I've not noticed the same sort of fatigue wearing this Quest 3 set-up with comfort mods, as I did with the Quest Pro. I thought the Quest Pro was comfortable but the pressure would get to me after a couple of hours, but so far I've worked for more than 2-hours at a time in this ensemble without noticing discomfort from wearing it. (Instead I need toilet breaks/food-breaks/concentration-fatigue breaks etc. when coding becomes a bit intense). Even with the silicon interface on, and walking faster ... 3.5mph+ on the treadmill (while watching a movie on the cinema screen etc.) I've not noticed fogging. Note - I've found with either Quest headset, wearing glasses can be a bit awkward with any facial interface / light-blocker ... even with the side blockers on the Quest Pro ... and so I get prescription lenses now for the headsets. I think with any facial interface, it might be a bit awkward with glasses. But with this CMQ3 thing without facial interface - with it "open" then glasses are no problem, like with the Quest Pro with no light blockers. And it can take a bit of fiddling around to find the optimum comfortable arrangement for the comfort mod to suit your head (and maybe trying different pads etc.) ... but my experience was that turned out to be fairly quick for me to find something that I no longer notice after hours of wear. The Globular Cluster packaging seemed high-end. The instructions seemed quite clear (always a nice surprise). And contact with the company (when buying the silicon facial interface direct from them) was pleasant. Highly recommended.

As a proud Meta Quest 3 owner, I’m always on the lookout for accessories that amplify my VR experience, and the CMQ3 Comfort Mod by Globular Cluster has been a total game-changer. If you’ve been searching for a solution that combines comfort, versatility, and functionality, you’ve just found your holy grail. Comfort Like Never Before Let’s face it: spending hours in virtual worlds can take a toll on your head and face. The CMQ3 Comfort Mod turns your Quest 3 into a dream to wear. With its clever weight distribution and self-weighted grippy rear pad, the days of forehead pressure and cheek marks are over. This isn’t just an accessory; it’s a complete overhaul of comfort. I’ve gamed for hours without a single adjustment—something I couldn’t say with the original head strap. Open-Face Mode: Cool, Clear, and Pro-Like The ability to emulate the Quest Pro's open-face mode is a standout feature. Say goodbye to sweaty cheeks and foggy lenses! This mode makes my sessions cooler and incredibly glasses-friendly. Paired with the Globular Cluster F3 magnetic facial interface (highly recommend upgrading), swapping between open-face and traditional modes is a breeze. The modular design makes it feel like I have a Quest Pro at a fraction of the cost! Customizable for Every Gamer The package’s three different forehead pads and three rear pads cater to every comfort need. Whether I’m in an intense Beat Saber workout or a chilled exploration session, I can mix and match materials to suit the vibe. The included anti-slip silicone covers and breathable fabric options are just what you need to stay comfortable, even during sweaty sessions. Rear Battery Solution = Endless Fun The rear battery holder is a stroke of genius. Compatible with the Anker 5000mAh battery (not included, but worth every penny), it eliminates the mid-session low-battery blues while acting as a perfect counterweight for balance. I’ve gone from being tethered to a wall to complete freedom, making games like Walkabout Mini Golf feel even more immersive. Why It’s a Must-Have This isn’t just about convenience—it’s about maximizing your Quest 3’s potential. The modular design allows for future upgrades, so you’re not locked into a static solution. The USB Type-C integration is seamless, and the setup is straightforward, thanks to the detailed user manual. Verdict For anyone who takes VR seriously (or just wants to take their comfort seriously), the CMQ3 Comfort Mod is a no-brainer. It’s like upgrading your car seats to luxury leather—once you experience it, there’s no going back. My gaming sessions have never been this comfortable, exciting, or worry-free. The CMQ3 Comfort Mod isn’t just an accessory; it’s an essential. My Rating: 5 stars

I have the kiwi design k4 comfort strap. It is very good. But I wanted a halo strap for open mod. If kiwi is 4.7 , this is a 5. Quality headband and very well balanced if you put your Anker nano 5000 power bank. Well done globular cluster!!!!!
