fantastic!
I have been wanting a makeup removing cleanser that is gentle enough to use on eyes to remove waterproof mascara. Well, the is the one. First off, it has a light yet oily consistency that rubs into skin wonderfully. This balm removes my eye makeup without stinging my eyes. I have also used it on my daughter's face to remove her stage makeup and it worked great and was gently enough for her skin and eyes. You will love it!

Adequate
Let me start by saying this product takes the make up off well. A 3 is not negative, it is neutral. Here are the things that lowered it for us (us being my daughter and I. She is a ballroom dancer and wears full glam when competing) You can feel it in your eyes. Some product will blur your vision slightly if it gets in the eye, but you don’t feel it. This one you feel. It doesn’t burn though. It also tastes horrible and the taste lingers. Again, heavy lipstick removal it can make its way in the mouth. Other products don’t have any taste and coconut oil is yummy lol. Those are the real minuses. As a plus, the packaging is one of the best we’ve had for travel and not having to stick our nails into the mix. So as a whole, in a pinch, yes, I would get it again. But only if a few others were out of stock. Hope this helps.

Melted waterproof mascara right off
This balm is quite nice. As shown in the pictures, there is a little spatula to use so you aren't sticking your fingers in it, which is a really cool feature for me. Even my high end skincare items don't offer this. Anyway, this stuff goes on like a paste, but melts super quickly and easily. It's super luxurious feeling on the skin. It took off all my makeup so easily. It is very hydrating, however there seemed to be a very slight residue left behind that seems to me to be a bit more than just that super soft hydrated feeling you sometimes get. It wasn't greasy or oily and it was only slight. My skin is super dry, so I would think that fast absorption wouldn't be any issue. I also got to thinking that the asian skincare lines are a big fan of double cleansing. Although the description doesn't specifically say anything about that, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the idea here. Regardless, it wasn't even enough of a residue for me to need to wash off. I've been going to bed as is every night and waking up with soft skin and some nights I have gone without a night cream as well with no issue. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is because I got a little in my eye one night and unlike other oil based cleansing balms I've had that are only slightly irritating, this one burned pretty bad.

Creamy, soothing, effective for makeup removal.
A creamy, soothing, effective cleansing balm that lifts makeup, rinses away cleanly, but leaves my skin feeling hydrated, not tight or dry. I thoroughly enjoy using it as part of my PM cleansing and moisturizing routine.

i dont like it
I don’t really like the consistency of the make up remover it feels really thick for a make up remover it feels way too oily I have to use a good amount to remove my eye makeup but after all it does the job and is scentless

Ok balm
Does the job of removing makeup well. I tried to look up this brand or product elsewhere besides Amazon to learn more about it but didn't find much. The writing on the product is not in English so really hard to know what's in it, etc.

Incomplete labeling raises concerns
I received the Avocado Makeup Cleaning Balm by "Ganbadei," that I requested, but the jar says "TWG" instead. Ingredients are listed only in Chinese, with no English translation.First Impressions: The product arrived with inconsistent branding and an ingredient list I cannot read. It may be out of line with the FTC’s Fair Packaging and Labeling Act requires clear labeling in English for products sold in the U.S.Usage Experience: I did not feel comfortable using the product on my face without knowing the ingredients, so I cannot speak to its effectiveness. The jar is pretty and the hidden spatula in the lid is very clever.Final Thoughts: This product needs proper ingredient labeling to meet U.S. standards. I would not recommend it until these issues are addressed. 1/5 rating.

Takes off my makeup easily. You do need to whip it up first. Has no smell - kinda weird - but works.
I am always looking for new skin care products to try, especially face cleansers, and I am very pleased with this avocado cleansing balm. It does, surprisingly, remove my makeup without being foamy or sudsy. When you open it, you'll first see a spoon. Then open the jar and use the spoon to whip up the product into a creamy balm. You only need 3 small amounts, dolloped onto your cheeks and forehead, to cleanse your whole face - with a simple rinse at the end (in a pinch, I wipe it off with just a wet washcloth). I wear primer and powder or spray-on foundation, plus setting powder and this leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed. I tend to have combination skin that is more on the sensitive side and this has been gentle and hasn't caused me any breakouts or issues. It surprisingly has no smell to it, but hey, it's better than smelling weird, right?4 stars for removing my makeup well.🙂
