Awesome for cosplay and taking pictures
I got these just to take fun pictures with my airsoft friends, and in hopes to convert them into digital nvgs for airsoft games. I was really surprised with the great quality, and that they had an LED inside the tubes to make them glow. As with many dummy nods, the front lenses invert your vision so don't expect to see much of anything when you have them on and in front of your eyes unless you take them out, which is very easy to do. They also have a clear piece that holds in the concave inverting lens so it will still be covered up on the inside. The batteries that power the leds are inside the bridge that holds the dual tubes, shown with a AA engraving. Overall for quality and the glowing feature, plus the included helmet mount, the pricing is perfect.

Looks Real, Overpriced Dress Up for Most
This item looks real but one should carefully note the listing as saying, "Mount for Cosplay and Display, No Function." Despite the price being at the low end of the price range for some low-end non-military, working night vision goggles ($49 at the time of this review), this is not a working night vision kit. It is a simulated and fake setup for costume purposes. When it arrives you will also note that the boxing provides not mention of this item being fake, cosplay or imitation anywhere on the packaging. The item has green LEDs in the lenses that give the appearance of night vision. So while looking real, and having a distinct military look, I feel that this item is probably too overpriced for most who are wanting to do military dress up, and is only perhaps of interest to those who are willing to shell out $49 for a cosplay prop or the military connectors provided. In my opinion the listing should be revised to more thoroughly emphasize the nature of the item. Perhaps updates to the main photos being more indicative of "dress up" or "cosplay" would help. The simulated goggle attachment comes with a helmet attachment not shown on the boxing, but it was pictured in the listing. This is a hidden gem. However, the kit does not provide instructions about how it works (there are no instructions at all) or how the simulated goggles attach. However, pushing on the front button of the adjustment slider pops out the triangular element and the simulated night goggles can be slid into this area at the point of it's triangular head. The LED lights on mine are a bit peculiar, as one was on for me at unboxing, but the other came on only when the lens is positioned all the way toward the center (it seems to make a connection then). In fact they both only come on when folded into down position. They seem to be powered internally somehow, but not by the fake AA battery compartments. The battery compartment on the goggle attachment is just an empty plastic space, as is also the fake power pack. You can place batteries in them, but there are no battery leads. Kind of strange. Moreover, there are no mention of battery requirements anywhere on the listing. Nevertheless, they work. Overall, the look and feel of these are cool, but the price is only for a serious dress up or cosplay costume, and even then, if you have enough to spend, you might explore working options. However, one bight spot is that the Nylon helmet attachment provided here is actually worth around $20 (in Nylon form only) and is nice to have.

Great Mock NVG's.
This set of Mock NVGs are great. They fit any mount and are durable. Its easy to use, with you only needing to flip them down and in to get the light to work. Of course with it being a mock, don't expect to see out of them or have any functionality. Its simply for cool look points on your kit. Overall a great and inexpensive pair of mock NVG's.

Awesome for Photos or LARPING
While these fake Tactical Night Vision Goggles do not function at all like optical devices, they are really fun to sport on your helmet for photos in your gear, or LARPING with friends. The green lights are turned on automatically when the tubes are flipped down in front of your eyes. Unfortunately you cannot see through them at all, but this is not a deal breaker for me. if anything, it helped me to confirm the mounting frame on my helmet is compatible & works to hold the NVG snug & secure. While I can't really say I have many friends that would be interested, I would still recommend them as a prop. Thanks for reading!

A fun toy for the kids.
This is a realistic looking night vision goggle set and a great form of entertainment for children. It's made durable and sturdy and light Is not so bright, so as to damage children's eyes, even if they looked into either end. The light is green and looks very realistic.. The only thing to remember is that you need a helmet to mount this to for the full. effect. I recommend this as a toy.

Perfect for Cosplay, Not for Practical Use
These Tactical Night Vision Goggles (Model AN/PVS31) are a fantastic prop for cosplay and display purposes, featuring an adjustable helmet mount that adds a realistic touch. However, they are non-functional, and due to magnification effects, you cannot see clearly through the lenses. While they excel as a visually accurate accessory for costumes, they are not suited for practical or tactical use. Ideal for enthusiasts looking to complete their cosplay gear with an authentic-looking yet non-operational piece.

Great looking faux nods
I one of these goggles to wear around my neck Eddie annual carnival. Our town holds every year. I love the way they look and they give off a very scary and eerie reaction with sniper costumes ha ha! I am far from the sniper, but I love movies like rebel moon & underworld so i am a big fan of their style in cosplay! These look real at first glance and garner just the response I look for when in costume. Happy hunting, kiddies.
