Exercise Bike, Magnetic Friction Stationary Bike for Home

Just finished putting my new MR-S26 (no screen) together. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy a process it was (despite less than stellar instructions). Basically all there is to do is attach handlebars, pedals, seat, and floor support/'feet.' There is no need for an outlet...and my phone located it so I could use the app. Figuring out the resistance was briefly confusing, but through ChatGPT I learned that there really aren't "8" levels of resistance: there is one knob you turn and it gradually becomes easier or harder to pedal. It's very quiet and feels sturdy and stable. I'll update this review later if there's anything more to add... Several days later: I've learned that you must connect the bike to the app each time you use it. You must also choose "Go" in a workout...or no data from your workout will be recorded. When you do all this, you will also see your Resistance level in the app during the workout.

This is the best exercise bike I ever had. It is easy to install and just follow the instructions. All necessary tools are included and easy to move from place to place. The seat is comfortable and easy to adjust. The display is small and you can monitor your exercise easily without any problems. It’s so quiet when the wheel is spinning and I am glad that I made the right decision to buy this bike.

Really enjoying this bike so far! Assembly was relatively easy however I wish the instructions had been a little more clear and in depth. The bike rides well, very quiet, comfortable seat, and easy adjusting. The touch screen is a nice addition and I appreciate the overall quality of the bike

This bike is quiet (making it easy to watch TV or listen to music) and is very easy to use. It doesn’t take up much space so I could have it in the bedroom to do prehab and rehab following hip replacement surgery. It was reasonably easy to assemble assuming one can use simple tools. One potential shortcoming if you are tall: I am 6’1” and about as tall as can be accommodated on the bike assuming that you want to extend your legs maximally.

I must rate it five Stars because it’s a great well-built bike for the money. Good points: it’s sturdy, gives readout for speed, time, calories, distance and rpm, easy to assemble, its light enough to move around with the built in wheel, has a nice mount for a tablet or smartphone, and it’s extremely quiet while riding. Not so good points: the seat slips unless the adjustable knob is really tightened, handle bars don’t adjust high enough for my comfort, and the pedals are hard to slip into due to the flimsy straps but I use the under side of them with no problems. I haven’t used the fitness app so I can’t review that aspect. Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase. For the money I doubt there’s a better one.

Be prepared: there is a lot of assembly. My husband, who is really adept at multi-step instructionals and is very logical, still needed almost 2 hours to complete the build. If you do not feel confident with machine building, it may be worth your time to pay for someone to assemble it for you. That being said, this bike is excellent and very worth the money. Easy to use and the app function tracks progress with many data points. It is very quiet, as advertised, and great for a small one bedroom apartment. The workouts can be varied in many different ways and it works well for beginners (me) looking for an easy start as well as 'experts' who want to sweat buckets (my husband). The seat height is decently adjustable. At it's lowest setting, it works for me (5', short legs) and I believe the 2nd to the highest setting works for my husband (6'). In my opinion it paid for itself in the first 2 weeks.

I’m really happy with this exercise bike. It’s sturdy, feels well‑built, and rides smoothly. The price was great, and overall it’s been a solid addition to my home workouts.

I really wanted to like this bike, but it’s been really frustrating to use. I’ve had this bike for just under a year. The seat is incredibly uncomfortable. I am also very short and everytime I ride, no matter how tight I tighten the seat, it slides back all the way and then I can no longer reach the handlebars. The distance between the handlebars and seat also seem to be too long for me, and so it becomes very uncomfortable to lean forward and use the handlebars. Now that I have been using it for several months. The seat actually wobbles side to side now and feels like the metal is about to snap which is terrifying and slightly frustrating that it wasn’t better made. I also wish there was a way to see the resistance without just the app since I like to use other workout videos as well. The app is user friendly and I do appreciate the ability to use it, but I find the workouts to be less engaging than some of the other programs I have used. I do think the look is sleek, it is pretty compact, and is super quiet and the ride is smooth, which is all nice.
