A stunning vibrant color, love this! It lasts long too, photos are two weeks old and I am a gym rat. No, not treadmill, weights. With what I put my nails through on a daily basis, I would say this is worth it.

With Covid, like all of us, I am doing my nails for the first time. (I have used regular polish of course, but not gels or acrylics.) For years, every three weeks I go and get dip nails, but with quarantine , they grew extremely long. It was becoming impossible to type, and I was stabbing my eyes taking out my contact lenses. I had planned to wait until we could leave the house to do them, but the time is continually extending, so I decided on a professional product to try myself. I didn’t choose dip nails because my best friend, who is talented with these things, found it difficult. I’m not talented, so I decided to try gels, as with the exception of curing, it seemed most like putting on polish. I ordered this kit as I like the subdued colors, and thought they’d be best for newbies. The price was also good. I also bought the base and top coat, pure acetone, a cheap curing LED lamp, and I was ready. All of it cost about the same as a visit to the salon. So this morning I began. First, I had to take off what was left of the dip, a messy process. I had watched numerous video to see how to do gels. I discovered the colors are not labeled On this brand, so I took a marker to put it on. (Do not put a drop of color on the label as it needs to cure). I picked a light grey and once my nails had no dip left, followed the instructions. The colored polish was very thick, which made the thin layers everybody said to do difficult. I don’t know if the polish was older or that’s the way it is. The base and top was thin. The brush was also short and thick, like In samples, so not great for smaller nails. However, the color was lovely, as they all were. It took me two hours, but I have extremely shaky hands and it took a while to get the dip remnants off. I also decided to just do a couple of nails at a time. Despite my inexperience, it was pretty easy to use. For a first time, it came out well, I think. For those used to dip, gels are not as thick and my nails probably being damaged, are pretty bendy. I only used two coats of color, which was all I needed. The gel doesn’t seem to offer much protection compared to what I’m used to, so I ordered a Perfect Formula gel to go over the top as that stuff is hard. i also may they three coats next time. Eventually, they’ll grow stronger. While I don’t yet know how long it lasts, I’m sure if it comes off it’s operator error. Right now they are shiny, even, (Except my filing) and look professional. So I do recommend this product. The colors are pretty, the price Is right and if it lasts long and my nails don’t break, and I get better as quarantine continues, I may even give up my nail tech and start doing it myself. Definitely recommend.

Pretty pigmented polish. Some may require 2-3 coats. The bottle sizes are small but great for self care day.

This magnet tool is a godsend!! It does the work for you, bringing the magnet part of the Cat Eye Gel Polish to the surface. The only dislike is the magnets tend to slip out. Other than that it does what it's intended to do and I would definitely recommend!

I haven’t had an issue with this brand yet. I love the colors in this collection. The bottles were smaller than usual but I won’t be using these colors every month so it should last some time. The consistency from the first purchase has been nothing short of stellar. This is a great brand in my opinion.

I liked the thicker consistency, as it was easier to work with for me. The only thing is that I still developed an allergic reaction when applying to press ons. I do not adhere the press on prior to painting because of my allergy/sensitivity to gel products. I also wait until the next day to apply them on my nails. I still developed little bumps, swollenness, and itchy fingers. Hema free does not work for me. Otherwise the colors are cute and the nails I did paint came out great. I just cannot wear/continue to use this product. Pics are from my press ons I made before the reaction started.

I’ve been using Modelones since I got into gel and poly gel a few years ago, and as always, this is a great product. This was my first time using cat eye polish, and I love it, and I’m really excited to try the other cat eye sets Modelones has (I use HEMA free). I’m reviewing the Halloween set, and since it’s still early, I just did the red cat eye over a black base, and wanted to show how it looks. This photo is in natural daylight. It came out more plum than red, and while I love it, I think if you want that blood red, you should put it over a white base.

Modelones is my go-to brand, but I was a little disappointed by this set. Some of the colors are a bit off from the picture, but not too bad. The polish is much thinner than other sets I've used, you have to use extremely thin layers and be very careful or the polish will drip into your cuticles/dips of your nails. Because the layers have to be so thin it took 3-4 color coats before it was no longer see-through. It dries well but the UV light burned a little, not something that normally happens. Overall my nails didn't turn out too bad, but it was more work than it should have been and the polish just doesn't seem as great of quality as other sets I own by this brand. Pictured is #1825

The colours in this set are all lovely. The brushes apply these gels smoothly, and 2 coats give perfect coverage. They set quickly, and last around 3 weeks without chipping. Best decision ever to stop going to the nail salon, and to buy these instead. Excellent value for money - they are saving me hundreds compared with getting them done at the local salon, and no one can tell I've done them myself.

Does a good job, easy application. The colors might look a bit different but can’t blame it on the brand, might be the photography. Will see how long they last.

Great colours, cures well

These gels are a bit thick and not all colours are as opaque but the price is great which is good for beginners who can't afford to waist money.
