For using over time, these lightweight scissors are a must for all day work. I recommend to anyone to have several pairs, but I keep these for fabric.

My daughter has decided to take up sewing, and was in need of a good pair of scissors. I figured I would try these Mundials out. She seems to like them and treats them with care. She only uses them for material and sewing - like they should be treated. Probably comes from her grandmothers' influences. They are comfortable, light, and sharp. Are there better out there? yes. Are these a good value? Yes. Will I get her a better pair if these wear out? maybe, it will depend on what she wants. Right now these are serving the purpose and she is happy.

I bought these shears hoping they could cut the plastic bubble pouches we use to package fragile gems. Normal scissors will not easily cut these pouches because of the material and the bubbles; those pouches are too big for the outer envelopes they go in, so they have to be cut to smaller size. I have tried many regular scissors, none worked, and some were very expensive, and had settled on some Fiskas serrated. But the cut is jagged with that type of scissor, and that shears became dull. I recently bought these Mundial shears and they are the only scissors that easily make a straight cut on the pouches. If they last awhile it will be great. They are an exceptional value for this quality.

Have used this brand of scissors for years, love them. They stay sharp for about 6 years and then I replace them, My small town does not have anyone who sharpens these!

Very lightweight and easy to handle. So far staying sharp, despite the daily use.

Nice scissors. I have an older pair of Mundials, which seem to be sharper. These had a bit of trouble cutting though some thicker fabric I was using. But all in all a good pair.

I really do like these scissors for cutting fabric. However, the manufacturer changed the bottom blade slightly and "squared off" the bottom blade. I wish they would have left the original design alone and kept the pointed tip on the bottom blade. They are still great scissors, very sharp and long lasting.

The way they cut fabric they very comfy and for the price are the best scissor there are
