So, as you are already aware, yes these are stinky. However, if they are responsible for Tohbi's incredible progress, then it is a small sacrifice for me to put up with the smell for a minute a day. Tohbi is a 15+-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, who has had TPLO surgery on his left hind leg (2022) and a modified figure 8 surgery on his right hind leg (March 2024). Tohbi's pre-surgical bloodwork for his most recent surgery showed that he has liver disease, which is not unusual in older dogs. After his surgery and during his recovery, his appetite was waning. To complicate matters more, Tohbi seemed lethargic and somewhat depressed. Enter Natural Dog Company Stinky Liver & Kidney Supplement Chews. Now, Tohbi being a rather fussy eater, I need to slice these into fours and hid each slice in something that he loves in order to get him to eat these. After several months of getting one of these per day, Tohbi's appetite is better, he is no longer depressed, and he is much more active than he had been. I intend to update this post after his next veterinarian visit, during which we will have his liver and kidney values reevaluated. Stay tuned.

My Frenchie loves these vitamins and would think of them like a little treat after I use Natural Dog Company snout soother, wrinkle balm, and paw soother/tection on him. I love that their products are made of all natural ingredients too!Sadly as the multivitamin changed the recipe/ingredients, I can no longer feed these specific vitamins to him due to his food allergies but definitely recommend their other ointments for dogs!

As soon as I started giving these to my frenchie, her constant reverse sneezes stoped and unexpectedly tear stains miraculously went away! Amazing 🤩

Works great for my dog and she eats them without a problem.

My dog ate these for years since he was a puppy and loved it! Then all of a sudden with a new batch he refused to eat it. I tried to get him to eat it by crumbling the vitamin into bits and sprinkling it atop his food, he wouldn’t even touch the bowl at all!! Upon inspection of the container, what used to be a sweet potato and duck formula (which is why I chose this multivitamin in the first place), has now changed into peanut butter and bacon formula! Disappointed, I now have transitioned to a different brand of vitamins.

LIVER&KIDNEY:It’s true they do have a funky smell. And my dog did eat them. But I after a few days I noticed a problem.My dog was having an allergic reaction to the Liver & Kidney chews. And I feel so bad I didn’t catch it. They are made with Safflower oil, and I know my dog is allergic to it.But I didn’t see it in the inactive ingredients. It’s completely my fault. I wouldn’t have bought them had I noticed.So I have to stop using it. But I still think they are good chews. And my dog still wants to eat them lol. Because he’s a food monster lol.(next day)HIP&JOINT:Today I gave my dog only the Hip&Joint chew. And he is having the same allergic reaction. I don’t know what he is reacting to. Because the Hip&Joint. They do not have Safflower oil. But they do have Sunflower lecithin. I don’t know if that means anything.It’s so frustrating. It’s not the company’s fault. It’s an allergic reaction.

I was a little disappointed when my original cranberry dog chews were no longer available. I looked up other brands with the same ingredients and went with this one. My dog will often leave them in her bowl. The other thing, when comparing ingredients, yes they have the same but this product has less than half the amount in each chew compared to the other. Same price. May work just fine, all said, I don't know.

They really work well take the anxious edge away from my dog. I hope they come back in stock. The smell of the valerian stinks and may be unappealing to some dogs. Mine eat them right up. They are a decent price considering most calming treats are $45-$50 will continue to buy if they come back in stock.

This is an amazing supplement and the first NOT to cause my dog a bad tummy. Brilliant ingredients. The problem was the Expiry date. Giving my 14 & 1/2 year old 1/2 tablet every other day. Bought 5th August but the expiry date is the end of November: 3 months! Company have not got back to me.

Currently I have 3 of my 4 dogs on these, I brought one tub on a whim, in an effort to settle my dogs who bark at the wind, the fence, hell the invisible man, you name it they bark. Which has a knock on effect IE one starts they all start.The first day I noticed a remarkable difference, more settled less reactive to strangers and well I liked the outcome so much I dropped another 60 notes 2 days later on another 2 tubs.Great for separation anxiety, general upheaval or uncertainty. Will definitely buy again! Recommend highly
