Really nice to leave my phone at home
I got my phone snatched in London (managed to get it back…that’s another story) but it made me hyper aware how much I have it out when walking about. Got this so I can control music, take calls, send messages, and navigate with maps with my phone in my pocket. After a few days of this I realised I don’t actually even need my phone with me with the 4g service. With Apple Wallet and a pair of AirPods I now sometimes just leave my phone at home when I go out and use the watch only. It’s actually a really nice experience.

It’s just a very slick product! Apart from ….
So I am one of the rare beasts who upgraded from Apple Watch 1 to 10 in one go :) I love the smoothness of all the functionality, the beautiful screen and it’s just the perfect size now. The 30-40 minute fast charge is a god send which means I can wear it to sleep and am getting great data already - which tells me I need even more sleep lol. It’s great at the gym too - really accurate and a joy to wear and easier to see because of the larger screen size. The massive irritation I have is that 10 years on - there is still not an easy way to see the steps on the front screen. It’s all about third party apps like Pedometer and complications - come on Apple - worlds biggest tech company and can’t sort this out. Other manufacturers have done this years ago. You can buy a £25 smart watch on Amazon that does it and this can’t at £500! I live in joy with the watch and in hope about the steps!!

Bad screen BRIGHTENESS
workinging great, amazing. but the screen brighteness is disappointing, they announced 2000 Nits of brighteness but in real life it would never exceed 500 nits. In fact, a cheap Chinese watch has better screen brighteness...
