VALEO - Wiper Motor - Front - 579738 -CLIO 3 (BR0,1, CR0,1) (2005-), CLIO GRANDTOUR (KR0,1) (2

This was twice the price of other motors, but having read the reviews I decided to go for this Valeo motor which is what Renault fitted originally. Some reviews talk about lack of thread, but the motor body is aluminium and the torx bolts are self tapping so its just a firm tightening of the bolts into the body. Hopefully this will last the 10 years of the original - will update the review if any problems ;-)

Like for like replacement. All you can ask for. Unthreaded as the other reviews say, but a bit for force does the job.

For Joe Public this would have been impossible to fit .. I happen to have 48 years experience in the motor trade and a full toolkit so was able to fit.. not good really for a genuine (expensive) Valeo part with exactly the same part number as fitted to car from Renault…

Brilliant item

Initially I was disappointed when I found the 3x mounting holes were not threaded. however, having read the reply from the seller "the motor is not threaded , the bolts should fasten into the vehicle front bulkhead through the brackets", I was able to screw the bolts to the holes with a bit of force even though they were not threaded. my advice just persevere and screw the bolts in as they are. job done

Nachdem der Originale Motor im Clio a gesoffen ist, musste ein schneller Ersatz her. Auch der Originale Motor ist von Valeo, daher keine Probleme mit Passgenauigkeit und Funktion. Jedoch muss die Endposition erstmal angefahren werden, bevor das Gestänge verbunden werden kann.

Después de llevarlo varias veces al taller y me pusieran uno de competencia más barato y todos fallaban, me decidí a cambiarlo yo mismo por este. Funciona mucho mejor y fácil instalación, en 30 minutos lo tienes colocado, el único pero es que no tiene rosca para instalar el mecanismo del varillaje(yo lo hice con un macho de M6 por si acaso me partían los tornillos viejos y apretaron perfectos)

Ottimo prodotto, perfettamente funzionante ed intercambiabile all'originale. Montato su Renault Clio serie 3. I fori delle viti non sono filettati ma non è necessario filettarli come molti erroneamente sostengono in quanto si autofilettano semplicemente avvitando le viti. Anche sul motorino orginale montato di primo equipaggiamento i fori non sono filettati.
