Orville Redenbacher's Movie Theater Butter Flavored Topping Oil, 13 fl oz.

This is fantastic butter flavored popcorn oil. Flavor is great, and coating and coverage is good, without having to pool a lot of it in your bowl and going through it super quickly. It also helps not leave that overly oily feeling in your mouth which is nice from a texture perspective. Not overly salty either so you can still season your popcorn additionally how you'd like. The bottle is also functional with the squeeze top and looks more functional than some of the older bottle styles. Size is a little smaller than expected, but as mentioned, a little goes a long way as well, so it should still last you a while. Durable cap as well, doesn't instantly snap off or gunk up. All in all, just a good quality product!

I've always liked this product line, the new bottle with the squeeze application improves the dispensing of the oil to where you want it to go, great idea.

Good for popcorn, but tastes not as good as melting butter itself. It's easy to use for the cost, but not worth it in my opinion. Simple size, quality is okay, and color is as you would expect. Very functional in a pinch though.

Technically can be used to also pop your popcorn in. We instead used as its main intent — topper oil. Popped a good batch and then drizzled a delicious layer. Like in the theaters, recommend to continuously shaking your bucket while drizzling to ensure everything gets nicely coated. Oil can be strong so recommend to not drizzle in any paper bags/boxes as it did seep through, but instead use actual bowls.

Really regret buying a 2 pack of this because it is disgusting. The flavor is very heavy and nothing like butter at all. If you've ever actually had popcorn at a movie theater you're in for a huge disappointment. This brand has a "popping and topping" butter oil that is way better, way closer to what you'll actually get at a theater (like AMC or whatever). The smell of this product does vaguely bring to mind how the "movie theater butter" microwave popcorn used to smell (20 years ago when I last ate microwave popcorn bags, I don't know if they're the same today), but it leaves a lingering odor everywhere that is honestly so gross the first time I walked into a room after the popcorn was in it, I genuinely thought a cat had pooped somewhere in that room and looked everywhere for it before I realized what I was actually smelling. I just ate some anyway because I have two bottles of it now but I feel sick to my stomach which is what prompted me to finally write a review on it. Probably just going to toss the rest. Just awful. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this.

My husband and I cannot eat popcorn due to health issues, but we MISS IT.This beautiful thing though is a great alternative, which we then add to broken up rice cakes with normal table salt, and it's amazing! It makes a wonderful snack that is nicer on our stomachs and corn allergy safe! It's greasy as pill is, however the popped rice actually stays crunchy with it, unlike when we talked making it with normal melted butter.Gastroparesis/IBS/corn allergy approved! Oh, and young toddler approved!

So yum. It distributes evenly as well! Quite pricey, but you only need a spoonful for a large bowl.
