I am always cold so the heat has been on now for about a month (NJ). The baseboard heat makes everything so dry and I get shocks every time I touch something, So I need a strong humidifier and I typically buy a few small, table-top types to place around the house. I saw this one, with the 2.1 gallon capacity and AND its a floor standing unit so I said I NEED to get this! The price was right too. I've been using it for about a week now - wanted to give it a fair chance - and I have to say I love this humidifier! There are so many good things about it that I'm not sure where to start! It came packaged securely and the set-up was very easy, and I am far from handy. The owner's manual is very clear and gives perfect instructions. I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I love that it can hold so much water. In the past, I felt like I was refilling my other ones every 3-4 hours. Not so with this one. I can fill it at night and I don't need to refill until the next morning and it works all night. It is very quiet. So quiet, in fact, I had to check it the first few times to make sure it was running, It gives you a humidity option so you can set it to where you are most comfortable. I find somewhere between 50 & 55 to work best for me. The ones I had in the past did not have that option. It has a function panel on the front where you can set that, as well as set a timer, turn on or off the night light, set it for maximum or minimum humidity AND it comes with a remote control that has the same exact functions! I don't even have to get up if I feel like lowering the humidity or turning it off or whatever. But my favorite part is the little drawer on the back with the pad that you can add a few drops of essential oils to. Now my whole house smells like vanilla!!! I absolutely love this humidifier. My dog does too as he no longer gets a shock when he wants to give me a kiss haha. I will keep this one for years!!

It is quiet, efficient and needs no filter. Also, if you use distilled water, there’s no white dust.

I am really happy with this. I like the large reservoir which avoids frequent refilling.

I will update this after a short while; seeing how well it adjusts the rh, the noise, refilling periodicity etc... My chief complaint is that it DOES NOT HOLD 2.1 GALLONS. It holds about 1.75 gallons, leaving me with a quarter of a gallon of water sitting on the table until the next filling or 2. This was one of the reasons I purchased this humidifier, the capacity, which was misrepresented by a LOT, by my standards. 12.5%+ off is a large margin of error, so I feel it is actually a misrepresentation. I will update with performance.

It was the best humidifier. I have no problem using is everyday and at full compacity. It doesn't leak like other cheaper humidifier. It was great that you can see the level of the reservoir for the need to add water. Overall a good humidifier if you want a large capacity and almost industrial strength.

Worked very well until it started leaking after 9 months. Only used purified water. I was contacted by the seller after my review mentioning the leaking was first shared. Had I known to contact their customer support team and either taken photos or returned the leaking humidifier, I could have received a full refund. They have still returned 60% of my purchase price! Outstanding customer service.
