Great for maintenance of my espresso machine
I ordered this after watching a video on replacing the brew head gasket on my espresso machine. Having used higher end espresso machines for the last several years, I wish that I had seen that video sooner. Gasket replacement can be challenging. This makes it easier.

Perfect for Flair 58
I got this grease to use on the o-rings on my Flair 58+. It leaves no off taste, no smell, and the tube is going to last forever. Perfect for my needs. Would absolutely recommend!

Great tube size and wonderful value
This grade is perfect for my many needs. I’ll be using this on my syringes, my silicon pads, and other kitchen needs where it needs to be both clean, lubricanted, and still good safe or edible. Looking forward to seeing my items performing better.

Versatile food grade lubricant
BX Food Grade Grease 1.7 oz is perfect for my new espresso machine. The portafilter is a very tight fit and requires holding to the entire 22lb machine to attach the portafilter. Using this grease around the lip of the bayonet lugs and around the top of the filter holder helps smoothen out portafilter attachment reducing the friction without needing to brace the entire machine. I still need to press on one corner for counterbalance. The food grade grease is also good for my Kitchenaid mixer with the meat grinder attachement. Putting grease between the rotating grinder blade and press die allows less direct metal to metal contact which was producing gray metalic ooze when grinding chicken breast meet. Now there's no more gray sludge using this grease. The grease looks semi transparent/clear with a little white in the tube. A small drop on my finger looks almost clear. Once put onto the metal of the portafilter, I don't see any color and completely clear. There's probably more uses around the kitchen.

Outstanding
i'm using this for my beloved (and $$$) saeco superauto espresso machine. it's fantastic quality grease. NSF certified, food-grade, heat and water resistant. the water resistance is the big thing for me. i've been using the philips oem grease and it pretty much washes off after every rinsing of the brew unit. there's a little left, but not nearly as much as you originally applied. that's not the case with this BX grease. you put it on and it stays on even between rinsings. the one thing to be careful of is that a little goes a long way. since it doesn't rinse off, if you put too much you end up with quite a bit of it in the corners of the brew unit. a nice thin layer applied with a small wooden spatula and you're good to go. there's plenty enough here to last for years as well. REALLY happy with this purchase

Smooth
I used the grease to lubricate my coffee machine brew group after cleaning. Worked great and went on nicely. Everything is smooth again. I did have to use my fingers as the opening was to large for direct application into the small spaces.

Very nice
I like the viscosity of this BX Food Grade Grease. It's just thick enough to cling and not run, but smooths out nicely when applied.I apply it with a paint brush to the tracks, piston and hinge of the brew group from my Saeco Picobaristo super automatic espresso machine. The first time I used it, I could tell it worked well because the machine was noticeably quieter.

Good quality grease that is food save; high viscosity
I am doing my best to keep appliances to reach the landfill, and sometimes all that makes them misbehave is lack of lubrication. For food- processing appliances, using regular lubricants is not an option. This lubricant is the safe choice, though I would be cautious about use in situations where there is a possibility of a significant amount of this getting into food. For light lubricating, this is great, and the high viscosity makes it stay in place and not migrate to places it could get mixed into food.
