I think I'll stick to compression fittings, I just chose these because I lost my compression tool. I have used this type of hitting many many times and though they're easy to use, they do take a bit more time to install and I have run into connection issues where a camera image ends up being buzzy or has wavy lines. Every time, the issue was at the connection point which also also means, true confessions, it was the installation aka, ultimately my fault. Basically, I have to be in great lighting, have my readers on, spend more time to pay more attention to make sure this installations is perfect, no frays, no metal touching jacketing, enough braid is contacting the collar, collar bar that twists easily is not touching the fastening screw yadda yadda. There is an easier way, BUT, I do like these fitting in a pinch. The last critique is that I think they're too long, I wish they were shorter.

These worked great. Exactly as advertised. Good secure connection & spring on end protects wire at connection point. For diy installations I prefer these over crimp connectors, seems to work better without fear of bad connection from moving around.

They are very nice connectors

purchased to make 10-watt QRP dummy load using two 5 watt 100 ohm resistors... but the third one was internally, not visually shorted, which could have destroyed the finals on a transceiver (always test before use!)

Purchased two packages of these connections to make some quick CCTV cables. I was attempting to use RG6 direct burial cable purchased through Amazon........a hour later and with two connector screws lost, I threw the worthless product in the trash. When you insert the exposed center copper wire into the opening the tiny screw must be removed. It will not re-install. I guess if you are using 28 ga center wire, it would work great. <<<Snark. Simply another waste of time and time is money!
