This portable SSD has been a life saver, as someone who likes to take a lot of photos and shoot video at events this SSD has been a massive help. As my phone doesn’t have a lot of storage and I’m not too keen on monthly cloud services this was definitely worth the money. It has fantastic transfer speeds so I can offload data from my phone and transfer it onto my pc for editing. It’s extremely light weight so if you use a gimbal it won’t cause issues. The hub makes charging and equipping other USBC devices like a mic receiver easy without. It comes with a carrying case so everything can stay together but the ssd and hub are compact enough you can put them in your pocket or another bag with all your gear.

A very versatile and small storage option for my iPhone videos. This can be used in many configurations and the most useful feature of the hub is the ability to plug in power and an extra accessory (e.g. microphone). The only slight shortcoming is if you change configurations often - you need to make sure you don't lose the small connectors and adaptors as they are closely keyed to the unit. But keep everything in the bag supplied and you'll be fine!

One star down for the pricing but I was stuck and needed it in a pinch for a job in Finland. Form factor is good, it seems to be robust, the hub is very compact which is important for the rig build. Can't complain about anything else, it did the job. Still stings thinking about what it cost. 😂

Works well with iPhone 17 pro, plug & play already setup with exFat for file transfer & recording direct to this ssd. Very simple to record directly using free Final Cut Camera app. You can also record video directly in standard definition eg HEVC (H.265) in SDR (Rec.709), HDR (HLG), Log/Log2 apart from massive file pro-res formats. Comes with usb-c adapter to plug into phone. I needed to remove my protective phone case for use but no problem. The ssd when attached to phone also works well with my DJI Osmo 6 Mobile gimbal, causing no obstruction or unbalancing. Hope this helps!

High-speed, lightweight, and compact SSDs. The only drawback is the lack of LED indicators.

Perfect, only with a case it can be a bit unstable

This small ssd fits securely and is small enough not to get in the way. It works right out of the box and comes with a couple of helpful items like 2 180 degrees usb c connectors, rig connector, case and a handy bag. Tested with an iPhone 16 pro with 4K ProRes LOG at 60 and 120 fps. Connection on both iMac and MacBook usb 3 is 10 Gb/sec, so transfer is very fast.

Sulla carta è un SSD esterno molto interessante: compatto, veloce e con l’idea dell’hub integrato che promette un setup pulito e pratico, soprattutto in mobilità. Per diversi mesi l’ho usato senza grossi problemi, apprezzando dimensioni ridotte e buone prestazioni. Purtroppo, dopo quasi un anno di utilizzo si è bloccato: il disco non veniva più riconosciuto correttamente e non sono più riuscito a usarlo in modo affidabile. A questo si aggiunge un limite importante per chi lavora in ambito video: l’hub non funziona con iPhone 17 Pro Max per la registrazione ProRes RAW, rendendolo di fatto inutilizzabile in uno degli scenari più interessanti per questo tipo di prodotto. Peccato, perché il potenziale c’è, ma tra affidabilità nel tempo e compatibilità reale, alla fine ho dovuto fare il reso. Muy bueno. Es algo más caro que otros, pero merece la pena. Se puede conectar directamente al iPhone y deja libre toda la zona del magsafe, o se puede conectar con un adaptador que lo deja montado y más recogido sobre la trasera del teléfono. La primera opción va bien cuando quieres colocar un powerbank al mismo tiempo. Mi iPhone 17 Pro Max lo detectó a la primera y no he tenido ningún problema, de momento. Solo queda esperar que sea duradero y fiable.
