solid choice; great deal, I'd buy it again
I window shopped for about a year, so I think I'm pretty aware of the choices in tonneau covers. Within the same set of features (meaning, comparing all rollups to each other, or comparing all the hard trifolds to each other, etc) they're all pretty close to the same with just one or two features that sets them apart from each other. Big name brands cost at least 3x the price of this tonneau, but didn't convince me that they were worth the hundreds of dollars more they charge. I was not disappointed. Bottom line, if you are looking at vinyl roll ups, this is a perfectly fine choice, and I'd buy it again over any of the other brand names due to its price being a fraction of the others with no significant loss of quality.Water Incursions:The cover is pretty much like any other velcro rollup for the 3rd gen Tacoma, and suffers from the same drawbacks all of them do, which is mostly due to the Tacoma, not the covers. If you aren't aware, the 3rd gen Tacomas have a gap in the front bed rail on each side that will leak if you don't do something to fill it. Other tonneaus might send you a custom sized adhesive square to attach to the rail to fill the gap, but this one did not. I used some spare weather stripping I had on hand, and it seems to be working. (You can look at installation videos for other brands or search youtube to see what I mean.)The other main problem with the 3rd gen Tacomas is that the bed rail caps are textured and they act like water gullies that channel water underneath the edge of the tonneau. Different manufacturers approach this differently, but they all seem to fail to fully fix this. But most do reasonably well. Finally, some tonneaus do not account for a strange design in the rail cap at the end of the bed (closest to the tailgate). 3rd Gen Tacos' bed rails curve slightly in the last several inches and any mounting hardware that is designed to be straight all the way or doesn't end before that curve will have problems -- this applies more to the low profile tonneaus that sit flush with the top of the bed rails. The curve is NOT a problem for this tonneau, because it sits on top and the clamps attach to the existing Tacoma hardware rails. In the end, some water will get in, (especially pressurized sideways flow, like a carwash) depending on how much you want to do on your own to deal with the Tacoma design flaws. But there's nothing inherently wrong with the design of the tonneau. As a cover that sits on top of the bed rails instead of flush and inside them, most of the texture problem is mitigated by that alone. I think it probably works as well as any other rollup design that sits on top of the rails, and I suspect it works better than the flush designs.Installation:It came with specialized clamps for the Tacoma stock hardware/tie down rails. They were a little tricky, but intuitive. I will say that they came with spacing washers that were not big enough, and the washers got caught inside the rails instead of sitting outside the rails. In the end though, it didn't prevent installation. I made do (by not using them at all), and mean to replace them with larger washers at some point (but the longer it's on there, the more I think it's ok if you don't use them). If you're a first time tonneau installer, the instructions could have been a bit clearer. The washers were the most confusing part, though, and I figured it out without much problem (and it was my first time installing a tonneau myself). Given the company seems to be making improvements over time, maybe they'll have addressed this by the time you order yours. When I fit the tonneau on my 2017 Tacoma 6' bed, I tried to seat the front edge of the tonneau entirely over the front rail in order to mitigate the bed rail gap problem, even though I did put weather stripping in there. As a result, I feel like even though the bed is absolutely fully covered, I would have been happier if the cover had been just a little bit longer to cover a little bit more of the top of the tailgate. It feels like 1/2"-1" more would have been nice. But otherwise, it still fits the bed well, and certainly covers the whole thing. There's also a bit of extra vinyl that acts as a weather/dust seal on the tailgate and it seems to be working to keep the rain out.Functionality:The closing latch is a bit difficult to close at first, if you're not standing above it for leverage. The instructions say to give it a silicone spray coating to help loosen it up, which I did. It helped, but it took a few weeks with occasional use to really loosen up. I've had no problems with it staying latched, and I've driven 100's of miles on the freeway now. It has the same basic tensioner that most vinyl tonneaus have, so you can always loosen or tighten it up if you're having a lot of trouble. The mechanism to unlatch seems slightly better than many competitors' designs. It is a cable, like most others, and you can reach underneath from either side to pull the cable if you want, but they also added a webbing pull in the center, and more importantly, there is a metal guard that runs the width of the tonneau that protects the cable from being snagged by a thief that uses a hanger or other device to slide under the edge to grab and pull the cable while the tailgate is still closed. Nice. (Obviously, it's still just a vinyl cover though, so if someone wants in, they just have to cut it open.)I think they may have changed the design a little bit since some of these other amazon reviews were made. The bars do not slide any more, they're held in place, and I haven't had any problems rolling and unrolling the cover.Negatives:I mentioned the spacing washers in the mounting hardware are not wide enough already, and there was also a slight stitching issue. The end of the backstitch was a little loose. It's a really long backstitch, so i don't think it's a functional problem, but just for aesthetics, I used some seam sealer (from my camping gear) on the thread to hold it down, and frankly, for the price, I'm ok with it. For me, it was an easy enough fix. It may or may not have been a one off quality control issue. If I'd paid $500 or more for it, I probably would have been more disappointed, but as it was so much less than that, no biggie. Either way, I would have done the exact same thing rather than bother with a return.Final thoughts:I think otherwise, it's a velcro, vinyl tonneau like any other. You do need to be sure to pull the sides tight before you press down the velcro if you're going to get up to highway speeds, I found. There was about a 2" spot that would come slightly loose in the middle if I neglected to pull the sides before pressing down the velcro. It never caused any problems though.I'd say if you're looking for a vinyl rollup, this is a solid choice, and I'd bet that it's just as good as the brand name favorites for a fraction of the price. I'd definitely buy it again, and I've already recommended it to a friend.

Great price/quality ratio
They make nicer ones but they cost a lot more. This one gets the job done and didn't break the bank. Install wasn't too bad, I took my time getting things even. Make sure to press down the velcro on each side if you roll up the cover and then put it back - otherwise on the highway the wind can sneak in and pull it open. But otherwise have had zero issues. Haven't even noticed water getting in, although I did not expect this to be truly waterproof or anything. It did a good job on a 6+ hour drive in the rain.Edited: Had this for about six months now in a snowy climate. Bed cover is holding up well, but the "rear" hardware is showing signs of rust on the bolts and washers. Seems hardware is not stainless steel. No significant exposure to moisture, bed cover has been on all winter, and the truck sleeps in the garage anyway. Not world-ending at this price point but you might consider getting some stainless bolts, washers, and split washers to use instead of what is included. Moved down from 5 stars to 4.

Fantastic Quality for the Price. Easy install, keeps out the rain!
I needed a rollup vinyl cover because, unlike hardtop or trifold covers, the rollups take very little room in the bed of your truck when not in use. This was the least expensive cover that had good reviews, so I decided to take the risk. Glad I did! Excellent quality, even surprising. Fit beautifully, easy install. Materials are thick and substantial for a rollup cover. The cover rolls all the way up when not in use, and secured by the included straps takes up almost no room. The week after I installed it we drove 2200 miles, half of it through the remnants of Hurricane Isaias in and around PA. Drenching rain so thick you could barely see to drive, but scarcely a drop entered the bed of the truck. None of our luggage was wet. At 75mph there was a little flapping of the cover, but no more than any other covers that I saw on the road, and it presented no problem even with 30+ hours of driving at highway speeds. My one problem with install was that the frame near the tailgate ended up being too wide for the latches on the cover. In order to secure the frame tightly to the built-in truck rails, you have to screw the frame all the way in to the rails with the included brackets (no drilling). I could see no way to adjust the width of the frame near the tailgate, and it ended up that the latches on both sides of the cover did not reach the notches in the frame. So I had to use a composite shim to bring the two sides of the frame closer at the tailgate so that the cover could latch in. I have a picture of the shim below. Perhaps there is a fix for this, but the instructions were not very clear, so I made it up. Still, it was a quick and easy fix and in my opinion did not detract from the overall quality. I still give it a solid five stars.Pros: Great quality materialsKept out hurricane levels of rain driving at highway speedsLooks greatRolls up completely out of the wayEasy to installNo drilling – included brackets secure the frame to the built in truck railsCons: Needed to insert a shim to bring the frame sides in to fit the cover.Instructions were not the clearest, but you still got the idea.

Very good quality
I bought kne of these for my daughters truck last year and it is amazing. Has help up very well in harsh weather conditions. Still looks new. She bought me one this christmas and I love it. Unfortunately ordered the wrong clamps and am working with them to get the right ones. Hopefully I can because I don't want to return it.
