Perfect substitute for fish sauce or msg
Yondu has become one of my favorite seasonings for so many things, to the point I keep some by the stove. If you need an umami bomb but prefer to avoid fish sauce or msg, this will fit the bill beautifully. In some cases I will substitute it for fish sauce, when I want the umami without the funk, and frequently use it in recipes that ordinarily call for msg. If I'm making a quick sauce that would normally take hours to develop a deeper flavor this is my go to. I use it when I make homemade mayo and it brings in the rich umami you would get from a kewpie style recipe without using dashi or msg. Honestly I buy the large bottle and still go through this stuff in no time.

I keep this on current rotation at my house. Don’t know how I ever ever lived without it.
OMG! This stuff is liquid gold! It adds so much umami flavor to my Asian meals without any of the additives or preservatives. With all natural ingredients, it doesn’t bloat me or make me sick. And being allergic to sesame seeds this really does boost the flavor for me so I don’t miss that sesame flavor. I keep this on rotation for sauces, dipping sauces, stirfry, and soups. I don’t know how I ever lived without this stuff before.

Awesome flavor I absolutely love this stuff! But the price on Amazon is expensive! When available locally it's about $4-5 cheaper! It's just very hard to find in stock

I can't explain what this does, but it's GREAT!
I don't know why this liquid does to food what it does, but it truly DOES something. It's an umami thing; you can't explain it but it gives everything you put it in something deep and rich. Maybe because it's soy-based, and so is white miso paste, which is also soy-based and which makes everything you put it into something better than without it. Okay, that's a convoluted way of saying that I don't know how, but it makes everything taste better. Even scrambled eggs. And it doesn't take much, just a half spoonful, depending on the size of the dish you're making. Or salad dressing, or stew, or soup, or salad dressing or baked fish. It also has a rich aroma to it, which is very pleasant.

Outstanding Umami!
This sauce is seriously amazing, I’m so glad I tried it! It adds so much umami instantly! It’s quickly become an essential staple in my kitchen. It’s sort of like a liquid vegetable bullion with a light soy essence, but without the massive amounts of salt and artificial bullion aftertaste. It does not have an overly fermented soy taste, it’s closer to edamame? It’s a nice clean flavor. It is salty, not as much as pure soy sauce or bullion, but I still use it sparingly like regular soy sauce. It does taste a bit more “raw” as a condiment straight from the bottle, but used with heat or in salad dressings and marinades, it really shines. It’s great sprinkled on stir fry veggies on high heat much like soy, it gets that savory caramelized coating. I add it to rice, dressings, dashi, tofu marinade, it’s incredibly versatile. It’s truly a secret weapon in the kitchen!

Lovely taste but a Little goes a Long Way !
I love the earthy taste of this, but very little goes a long way as it is a salt product. I mix a small amount into a small cup of hot water and then put drops into various food, like rice, noodles, broccoli. Great taste and the bottle is of very good quality to hang out in your fridge for a long time. The pouring cap works perfectly.

Love the versatility and the flavor! Sometimes soy sauce just gets too salty for me and I love this as a different option. I throw it on veggie bowls, and fish.

Buonissima provata finalmente ieri. Arriva confezionata benissimo in una scatolina di carta con all'interno il prodotto con attaccato un etichetta con scritto gli ingredienti in lingua italiana. La sua composizione è salutare senza zucchero o altri conservanti nocivi. È un prodotto che dà sapore ai piatti e allo stesso tempo fa bene alla flora batterica dell'intestino. Non è una salsa di soia classica ma di colore molto più chiaro e il sapore simile alla soia ma delicato. Aggiornamento Ricomprata agosto 2024 meravigliosa come sempre ho preso infatti la misura un po' più grande

Pesima entrega y sin devolución
Huele riquísimo, sigo huele porq fue lo único q pude hacer con el . Ya q el repartidor llego a entregarlo después de las 10 de la noche. Sin avisar . Y se le ocurrió lanzar el paquete tres metros de altura sobre el cancel para q callera dentro de la cochera, obvio se rompió .

Toque umami y sabor en un producto que cunde y enamora.
Una maravilla de producto. Apto para veganos y sin gluten. Ingredientes: esencia de soja ecológica (soja, sal, agua), cebolla, rábano blanco, puerro, col, zanahoria, shiitake, jengibre, ajo y extracto de levadura. Otorga un toque umami a los platos. Parecido a una salsa de soja, pero menos salada y con más matices y apenas tiñe la comida. Llevo años empleando este producto y lo utilizo bastante a menudo. Cunde mucho porque no es necesario abusar de él. Casa con arroces, pastas, legumbres, caldos, cremas... Enamora fácilmente.
