I purchased this for my 10 year old great grandson at Christmas. He hasn’t used it yet, but he loved it! Well made and it appears to be easy to use. It was a good buy as a starter fishing pole for a child.

This is such a great rod and saves up so much space. My dad loves it and uses it every other day

excellent portability, light weight, great durability. For the intended purpose as my to-go fishing rod, it will be an excellent addition, and fun to use. the only problems I have with the entire thing is the box used for the lures broke and I nearly hooked when I reach into the bag to pull stuff out, and the fact that the bag itself is rather flimsy, I dont know how much a sturdier case will cost, but it would be nice to be able to carry this thing in a case that won't let it get broke if something falls on it.

Love love love this ! I fish alot and needed something convenient and ( I have a bad habit of breaking the tips of my poles) this pole works wonderfully! It's smooth when casting and the handle even folds in. Easy to set up. Comes with a carrying case along with a small tackle box with some nice accessories. Honestly hands down best purchase. If I had anything to say about this negatively it would be the tip part. It's a yellow plastic ( very durable tho) if you do extend it make sure to not pull as hard to lock it in place because it could get stuck. A little WD40 tho and my hubby unstuck it with pliers lol

Had to give this 5 stars based on the price and functionality. I brought this on a backpacking trip and the rod itself held up very well. Caught several different species of fish and never worried about the strength. Value wise you can't complain, but the reel and line are pretty cheap. If you are looking to do some long casting from shore I would advise buying a shimano reel and choosing your own line. I'll be using this extendable rod again in the future with some upgrades, certainly a good starting point that can get the job done.

It came line with a very heavy test line. I was unable to use it. I have to get it refined. I wasn’t able sad that I didn’t get to use it on opening fishing day. Had to use my sisters pole. I think once it gets refined with a lighter test it will be great. Convenient to keep in the car because it’s retractable and it doesn’t get tangled on everything.
