I purchased this item to prevent my dogs from scratching our door. The concept is simple but genius. When it arrived it was missing the 3M locks. So, I called Amazon and although they made suggestions on an alternative option, I insisted I needed the 3M locks as recommended. They then gave me the contact number for Clawguard and I called them directly. Kevin, the founder and CEO, answered the call and overnighted the locks immediately. Problem solved. Excellent customer service.

I had to use sewing straight pins as the screw-in things included with the product didn’t screw into my furniture.

Believe it or not, it worked! I used both strips to cover the corner of our bed, which was the cat's favorite place to scratch. (Tip: layer them so the top overlaps the bottom, that way the claws don't catch.) Eventually he just stopped scratching! We have been sans plastic for a couple weeks and not a single scratch! (The upholstery pins are less wonderful, but I don't think any upholstery pins are actually great, so that part didn't bother me.)

But I don't know if my daughter is going to be too keen on putting upholstery screws in her furniture. She can make the decision though. She has three kitties and I am pretty sure she needs something to keep them from being destructive. If nothing else, she also has 4 dogs and three are big and their paws make marks too.

I love this product. I looked everywhere for something that would look decent on my nice couch and would protect it. Forget the tape, my cat LOVED it -- she just scratched it more. Then I tried the spray but it kept breaking. This works very well, looks good, and is reasonably priced.

I just got this delivered today, and when I opened the package, I noticed the upholstery pins weren't inside. The box definitely says they're supposed to be included, but they're not there.

Fantastic product. The pins don’t leave marks in your furniture and the material is sturdy and won’t fall off. Bought more of them for my other furniture!

Ok so it is a thick piece of plastic material. It came bent in half inside the package and won’t unbend ? Umm it had 1 whole in each corner where you are supposed to put the little thing to attatch it to your furniture but it’s not sticking anywhere else so my cats will Deff try to pull this off. I really don’t recommend this to stop your cats from scratching furniture . Maybe having one side that is sticky with the attachments would be better ...

Fueron el remedio para que mi gatita dejara de rascar mi sillón , me funcionaron perfecto. Tienen un olor curioso al sacarlos de la caja pero desaparece al día siguiente . Los volvería a comprar, sin dudas.
