This review is for the significant others who don’t know much about yarn. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife not knowing anything about it, thinking that 54 yards per roll would be a decent amount, but ended up laughing pretty hard when I realized how small these bundles are. They don’t glow entirely through the yarn either, certain fibers do. They glow very bright (at least mine do) but only certain strands woven in glow.

I used this yarn to make little Halloween “monsters’ for a little neighborhood kid. I’m very happy with the end result. The yarn has a rough cotton feel so I wouldn’t want to knit a sweater or blanket out of it but for a small project like this, it was perfect. I was happy with the glow-iness too.

Right off I return these because of the false glow color advertising and just glow green. These are more like strings type yarn then traditional yarn. Pro: color is bright and very nice, softness is decent for this type of yarn but not soft like other yarns. The size feel right and these are small amount. CON: The quality is bad because of the false glow advertising. As such. I'm also knocking it for durability and ease of use because their a label to not use water over 104 degree and hand wash only. Does this mean it can not be exposed to summer weather and heat or left in cars? I like the color and the type however you can get the same color, type of yarn, and amount for fraction of the cost. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I crocheted glow-in-the dark ghosts. If you leave them out in direct light, they do have a faint glow but it isn't super bright. The yarn is pretty thin and was a nightmare to crochet with because the strings pulled apart. I probably needed a smaller hook, so part of that is user error. There really aren't many other glow-in-the-dark options, so this yarn will do in a pinch.

They really glow in the dark!! I knit a hat and used a few of these as accent colors in a mostly black hat.

Though the material is sturdy, the glow is a couple of threads of added thin plastic that doesn't hold glow for more than a few seconds. The colors are lovely, but they ALL glow the same boring green tone. Overall, not at all worth the money. The yarn is 3 or 4 very loosely spun color strands and the glow. Very thin yarn and small skein. Photos and description are misleading to say the least.
