This is a silicone toy like many others that are currently popular. Some are filled with gel, some with foam, some with sand or salt crystals. This one has the sand or salt crystals. It seems like it would be the kind to hold its shape, but it does not. There isn’t enough sand inside to keep tight, so it just goes back to normal. If the intention was to be posable, it failed. It was super stiff when new, like a brick of coffee, but once I crumbled that initial internal hold it had, it never got hard again. If I push all the sand to the head, it kind of works. The molding of the dragon is very well done. It is my finest made silicone balloon toy, but in terms of squish or hold, it’s neither. It’s a soft fill, like a sand bag. It does stretch well, and it looks great. I wonder if I got one underfilled or if they’re all the same. It seemed packed full when new, but it crumbled like a dry sandcastle.

This is a cute stretchy and squishy dinosaur-type creature. It arrives in a sealed cellophane bag. Upon opening the bag, I didn’t notice a chemical smell and it’s only when I sniff with the toy close to my nose do I notice the teeniest bit of an odor. The shell is made of some sort of rubber and is filled with sand, similar to those gorillas that were made famous on tictoc. I prefer this fun dino as a relaxing fidget because it’s smaller than my gorilla, so it’s lighter, easier to manipulate, and more comfortable to hold. It’s about 8-inches long and can be stretched out to over 12-inches. You can also throw it on the floor or against a wall to flatten it, which is a good way to unload stress or anger. When I want to return it to its original size and shape, I just roll it, like a rolling pin, on a table and it quickly returns to the way it started. This is a fun toy for kids and a good fidget for all ages.

Tore instantly and the sand inside got everywhere

So I think it works.

Cute Dino toy, but came with part of the leg already torn.

This dino toy isn't easily recognizable as a particular species of dino (probably a T-rex?) but if your child loves malleable, squishy animal figure, it will surely be a hit. Feels as if it is filled with a bean bag type compound, and has a lot of stretch and squish. Great as a gift bag filler, stocking stuffer or other small gift.

Even though my wife got this Sensory Fidget Dino for our almost 3yo toddler, I find it relaxing too. It's squishy, feels like sand inside, stretchy and keeps that shape, rubber type material, a great size, bright neon color and no strong odor. We got this for bath time, to help unwind and also because our daughter likes Dinos. We think this would make a great gift, stocking stuffer, etc.
