Bought previously and it arrived in a branded box, like the picture. This time I got 10 loose bags in a grey plastic bag - not so good for gifting! Guess I'm wrapping up 10 individual bags of biltong this year.

My children and I love biltong. We've tried various different ones but this is our favourite. It's a bit pricy, but it is nice quality and flavour. Have ordered several times and always been nice. It isn't chewy like some of the others I have tried. This has slim pieces which aren't going to leave u chewing for hours!

You know when you search for something on Amazon and go through the results to carefully choose a product that is good value for money? Well I was trying to buy Jerky and this was one of the results (because it says Jerky in the title although it very clearly on the box and packets in the photograph says Biltong).So in the comparison of all the products I got confused and bought this. As Biltong it is ok and in good size bags, but unsurprisingly if you bother to read the information rather than just the title IT IS NOT JERKY. So I was disappointed. My fault, but disappointing all the same.

It taste very close to the biltong my SA friend makes in her home but since the pieces are in slices rather than like jerky strips/sticks, the flavour isn't as strong. It is expensive in my opinion for 10 packs of 30g. They could downsize the packet cause 75% is literally air. You could prob pour everything and it will fit in your hand.If you are willing to spend the money then go for it. It's a pretty decent product but the 1kg is more worth it.HOWEVER!!! You should be AWARE that they have put preservatives that are known to lead to CANCER if taken in large enough doses.

This jerky/biltong is a fine quality product and is really quite special in the market place. It's so much better than the other brands, it's not even close.
