A long time ago, our Vet recommended fish oil for our dogs. We have used it ever since. This is a excellent product. It has omegas nutrients from Krill, Salmon, and Cod. Helps with shedding, quality of their coat, (which I can already see an improvement in since adopting him), helps immune systems and joints. I use a little less then recommended, and my dog loves it! In fact, if I put his food down without 1 pump, he waits for it, so he must think it tastes good. I don't know if it's suitable for cats, but definitely is for dogs. I recommend this, just use conservatively.

UPDATE 11/01/2024 - The seller contacted me and notified that they have no controller over the shipping process, but they apologized for the leaky bottle that I received. They made everything right and I'm very happy. I've been buying this product for awhile now and my dogs love it! I love it! BUT, I received my order yesterday and I was VERY disappointed when the bottle had leaked ALL over and was a complete MESS! When I went online to return and replace it, I found out that this item isn't returnable. I'm not sure if this is the manufacturer's fault or Amazon's, BUT I am disappointed either way. I did reorder another bottle and I'm hoping it will arrive undamaged, as this last shipment was a 1st. But if it happens again, I will have to find another way of getting this item, (buy local if it's offered), or I will have to find another product that is similar. I feel Amazon, or the manufacturer needs to do better with packaging, as this product is not something you want leaking everywhere... it stinks and it's messy!!!

My dog loves this. It suppose to help old dogs painful joints. It seems to work however she also gets glucosamine pills. I think it helps.

My 10yo springer spaniel has had skin issues for the past 8 years, manifesting from simple scratching in the middle of the night to raised bumps, to open wounds and serious inflammation and infection. This year she started experiencing intense weeping hot spots. This was a new scary presentation. From the vet, she been on everything from Apoquel to antibiotics to prednisone to zenrelia to personalized vaccines… and cycling all over again based on what was happening. I did some research and reviews and decided to change her food to “Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Dog Food Dry, Adult Salmon & Rice Formula, Digestive Health” + this wonder paws fish oil (2 pumps) on it daily. She absolutely LOVES the taste of both and cannot get enough. I’m pleased to report, scratching is almost nothing now- maybe one scratch every 3 days. All hot spots are healed with hair growing back. The weird crusty raised bumps near her head and neck are nonexistent. Her coat is a beautiful silky soft sheen. She’s never looked better. I cannot believe I didn’t do this years ago… think about how much I could’ve saved in vet bills and meds. Yikes. The pics tell the real story (see her neck area hot spots. These were the worst open, weeping and bleeding).

Haven't noticed a stop to the itchiness yet, but in just a few doses my little 14 year old dog has started going up the stairs by himself (not being carried). Also, with my big dog (10 yr old), I have noticed less limping in her first few steps after getting off the couch or getting up from her bed. I'd call that a win. May have to update in a few weeks regarding the itchiness .
