Timely shipping, well packaged and as advertised. This factory new firestick is one of the best things to happen in the entertainment industry. You can turn ANY TV with an HDMI port into a "Smart" unit by plugging in the firestick and connecting it to wifi. It is very easy to use and provides great picture quality (this of course depends on the set's own resolution). There is a great variety of both FREE and Paid things to watch to nobody will go needing. A great piece of hardware to own. You should have one for every set in the house.

I was under the incorrect assumption that a Firestick would simply allow me to view Amazon Prime Video but Wow!! -- Was I ever wrong. You also get Live TV, News, access to other channels that can be paid for through Amazon. There's also music & games & YouTube where you can find a video on almost anything you're interested in! I hadnt realized one could download apps with this!! I have a regular HD dumb TV!! It's all I wanted. I'm not a fan of AI, Smart TVs or Smart houses and tech in general. I was under the misconception that one needed a Smart TV to access apps but Firestick makes that all possible. There are free apps with more free shows & paid ones too. I've not yet tried a game and I can't speak to whether or not the remote is sufficient for use with some games or if one must buy some type of controller. But the programming is Excellent!! Amazon Prime Video has a good deal of Historical Fiction series & movies and i tend to gravitate toward that genre. Also, there are vast amounts of documentaries which fascinate me! Thanks to the YouTube app, even though I'm badly disabled, I was able to join a church service I wished to attend last Sunday morning! The church is much too far away for me to ever get to it but Firestick HD brought the church into my living room!! And, I caught this item on a big sale so it didnt cost nearly what id expected. Its incredibly easy to install & set up! My Spine is badly twisted & I can stand only for very few moments. But the install is nothing more than plugging the Firestick HD into an HDMI port on the back of the TV & then plugging the other end of the chord into a wall outlet. BANG! A few simple set up details entered on the screen & you're done!! Warning: When on the Homescreen, you're not just on Prime Video and many of the advertised shows start a free trial or a charge to your credit card to watch so read carefully!! I think i should also note that I nearly missed one of the 2 pieces to the Firestick HD because it was in a smaller box in the bottom of the main box!! So just check the packaging carefully. The remote on this is Soo much better than the one on my old Firestick from 8 or so yrs ago!! There is an On/Off button for one which was sorely lacking on the old remote & there's also Volume control that wasn't available before. I used to have to use both this remote & my TV remote to change volume Or simply turn it off. This remote also has a few quick buttons like 1 marked YouTube, another marked Netflix & a couple more. I've not even needed those so far as I just accessed YouTube using the main button instead of using the cheats as I think of them. Firestick HD has turned my simple HD TV into a tech box!! I love this firestick. It was easy to install with clear instructions. All the parts were in it i needed. Hooked right up and did set up perfectly .I like the fire stick because its so easy to use. It can be ordered paired with ur account so very little to do. I like being able to do watchlists and purchases that are linked to my prime account. Happy with my firestick.

This is replacing a Fire TV from 2015, so I fully expect another 10+ years of work out of this badboy. I'll update in 2036. Seriously, decade plus performance from such a affordable device - if you already have Prime, and don't have a Fire device, this is a good basic starter. If you are using a older 1080 TV and don't need 4k, this is a good choice. Finally, if you want streaming options in the bedroom, but you don't want a device always listening, this is a good choice! ;) As with all Fire devices that I've tried, durable remotes, excellent battery life and endless streaming options. Kudos for Silk!
