Only a small update on the previous version, but if you’re not upgrading from that, it’s a fabulous sized device and well worth it. It’s my go to device for media consumption and web browsing rather than my iPhone now.

It suits my needs, as a manager in training this is perfect for notes in meeting or tapping out my assignments. Entertainment wise the screens nice to look at, and I have to admit I'm really impressed with the sound quality. All in all, it's a great little tabelt that packs a good punch.

Where do I start...My journey began when my partner ordered me a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, and oh boy what a story...Setup my PWSE and went on Amazon to leave a review, and found that there was a Kindle Colorsoft... FOMO was real and I decided to swap PWSE to Colorsoft and the nightmare began, terrible grainy screen and yellow banding, after replacement unit being the same done some research on reading on iPad and that's when this product story starts,Got the iPad, ordered the Apple Folio case and a matt screen protector - using the right settings and using the Kindle app this is the perfect eBook reader in my opinion.The screen is slightly bigger than the PWSE but not too big and it's not heavy like other bigger iPads, and not only allows me to use the Kindle app, I can do all sorts of things specially when traveling.

Update;My first Mini had to be sent back to Amazon as it was overheating and phantom typing leading to lockouts and shutdowns. I could not choose a replacement for the return so had to buy another whilst I waited for my return to be processed and refunded. Amazon refunded quicker than the 14 days after return stated.My replacement iPad mini is working without issue, super fast, I am use to the fingerprint reader on the edge now and it’s an improvement. Battery life is very good and it’s a nice handy size, shame MS office apps need a 365 subscription on such a small screen. Price is the only let down but you can’t get cheaper than Amazon at the moment.Original review;Looks great, more portable, very powerful.Please be aware that the basic MS Office apps do not allow editing on the IPad Mini 7 unless you pay for the expensive 365 subscription. This is a big shame as I thought they were free for all screen under 10 inches, however, it’s not Apple’s fault so no stars deducted for this.It does get a star deducted for its price though, I know it’s powerful but £500 for such a small tablet is taking the mickey. I do have one concern which may lead to further points deductions if it happens regularly..It’s snowing outside, it’s late at night and my iPad has said it’s too hot to use for the last hour. Hopefully it was a glitch in the matrix, I had to hard reboot it and will see if this issue recurs.

It's an iPad mini... Works a treat, and I use it daily. Screen mirroring works well from MacBook.

Bought for during chemotherapy because it’s small and lightweight so easy to carry around.As with all Apple products, easy to use and worth the price tag.

I bought this ipad initially to use when travelling as i spend weekends at a different location to my home. However it soon became clear that this device was becoming my go to Ipad all the time. I also have a 10th generation standard sized ipad. When i look at youtube reviews of this product there are quite a few critical reviews that talk about the lack of a 120Hz refresh rate and that the screen is only 500 nits. However if like me you use your device for web browsing, watching youtube and Prime or netflix this device is superb. It has a fast processor in it the A17 chip, however unless you think you are going to try and multitask with photo and video editing or want to play the latest graphic hungry games, you really dont need to worry. The battery life lasts all day and beyond, as someone who is retired i always charge overnight irrespective of how much charge is left when i go to bed. It’s then setup for whatever the next day brings. I also use the apple pencil pro on my device, im a user of goodnotes and this works great with the ipad mini...
