This is a very good set of kitchen tools. It has almost everything needed to make most meals. I wish I got this when I left home for university since it would have made starting out so much easier.Everything is of decent quality. It’s by no means top notch, but it’s a lot better than some of the stuff I’ve seen at discount, high street stores. For example, none of the silicone spatulas have any nasty, bitty silicone on the edges. Everything has been finished nicely.All of the spoons and spatulas are useful for their own tasks. There’s a good selection for different uses.The whisk is a little flimsy but will work for most easy whipping jobs. It also won’t scratch up your pan if you need to use it in something non-stick.The tongs are surprisingly good. They pinch together at the tip and hold onto food easily. They can be locked together so they don’t take as much storage space.The set of measuring spoons and cups is fantastic. With those, you can follow almost any recipe without a set of scales and get good results. Perfect for baking.The grater is reasonable. It will do the job if you want a little grated parmesan and works with hard spices like nutmeg. But if you need to grate a lot of cheese, you’ll need to get a separate box grater.The egg stainer is something I didn’t get until much later in life but is now a very handy tool in my kitchen. So having one in this set was surprising but welcome.The spoon rest is very flimsy. Personally, I just use a side plate.Everything can be put in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.The utensil pot is quite sturdy but the overt branding is a bit off-putting for me. Fortunately, it’s only on one side so you can just turn it around to face the wall.The only things missing are a potato masher, peeler, can opener and some kitchen scissors. I’ve seen those included in other sets, which is why I bring them up.As I mentioned before, this is a great kit either for people starting out in the kitchen or wanting a spare set of utensils. There’s very little missing from this set and you’ll be able to do most kitchen tasks right away.I'll be making this my go-to present for anyone heading off to uni or moving into a new home.

I'll open this review by stating - I hate metal kitchen utensils.Whilst they may last longer or be of higher quality generally, they have a vast potential to damage your pots and pans, so my general approach is to avoid them like the plague.On the other hand you have wooden utensils, which are much less abrasive, however they come with their own set of problems - namely being not dishwasher safe, cant leave them in water and them soaking up the smells and flavours of whatever they are used for.Silicone tools are a very nice middle ground, with seemingly no real downside - the cookware doesn't damage pans and pots, but is still dishwasher safe.This is a very comprehensive set of silicone/hard plastic (with a few exceptions) utensils that should cover almost all of your kitchen needs. All of the tools come with holes (that are heart shaped!) so they can be hanged by the included hooks, or you can store them in the included black/gold plastic pot.Due to the silicone coating, these utensils should resist the heat of hot pans without melting, but still retain shape due to the sturdy plastic inside. Keep in mind though that these will not be anywhere near as sturdy as metal.Overall though, I think this is a very decent set and with it selling for only £20 (at the time of writing), arguably one of the better-valued sets out there.

This set of 36 pieces does make for a great starter set. Quality is ok, nothing amazing, but certainly more than expectation of something priced at less than £20.The pieces are well made, with some of the stand out items for me being the whisk, tongs, grater and pizza wheel, as they all have the steel handles. The storage caddy is handy, and saves on space.Ideal for starting out or refreshing your utensils, this set is very worthy of consideration.
