ive been wanting to try gua sha for a while now and i had a metal one but lost it before i could really get into the habit of using it. but this one is so perfect and it just looks so nice. i do struggle with the size of it sometimes as the curves dont perfectly match to my face so i think itd be nice if different sizes were offered, but i really do love this one

I had high expectations for this product because I have used their iced facial masks which work well. Upon receipt of the product, I was looking for the directions how to use this product to produce maximum benefits. That is the first con. You have to the directions by pulling up the QR Code. From that, you immediately are being sold additional products by offering 10% off which annoys me. I just want the directions for the product that I just ordered since it’s a different shape of my current Gua sha tool. I purchased a fabulous gua sha tool set made Mount Lai that included not only the tool but a serum for facial sculpture for much less that works well and produces the same results. I really wanted this product to do what it says it does and I agree that it does. Hence the dilemma. Do I like this shape compared to my other tool? Yes I do. Does it do what is expected to do according to the manufacturer? Yes it does. Would I purchase it again as a gift? No. Does it work better because it is porcelain instead of Jade or stainless steel? No. Now this is my opinion and yours may differ. But, the most important thing about using ANY Gua Sha tool is to cleanse it thoroughly because it can harbor bacteria. I consider this product as being average. The main reason why I say it is average because the price point is set higher than comparables. I own an array of products from different moisturizers, serums, cleansers and tools. I strongly believe in taking care of your skin because it is the largest organ on your body. Additionally, your face is the first thing people will notice about you. Therefore, I like trying new merchandise for my face and neck. I personally would not choose cosmetic surgery although a lot of my friends have done so I am not judgmental at all. I just choose to use the different products that I spoke about above. Lastly, remember to use your favorite serum or any serum ( I use different serums but pictured the Bakuchiol serum that particular day) to make the tool glide across your face and neck. In the pictures I chose, you can see why I say to thoroughly clean your tool after use. And, always remember to cleanse your face thoroughly and if you use toner, apply before using this product or any Gua Sha product.

As someone who owns a few Gua Sha tools this one looked intriguing. Since these are 'handcrafted' it looked interesting and might offer something different. It does. The weight of this tool is excellent and the shape is very pleasant for my hand, but that might be different person to person. I would say this works better on the undereye and eyebrow than most of the mass produced tools because the weight allows it to do more work with less required of the user so there is very little likelihood of scratching or hurting yourself. It also holds temperature well. Now the fox in the room; the price. This is clearly a luxury item and maybe one of those cute self care indulgences for when you need to treat yourself well. I do think it offers a bit of face care performance above the $8 ones. You're less likely to poke or prod yourself with this, but you absolutely can get benefit from competently made metal or jade or faux fade ones. This is a bougie, boutique item and I'm sure it has its own audience, just don't feel bad if you choose to scroll away. My only other critique on this, sort of, is a reminder that it's porcelain. Do. not. drop. it. If you're buying a gift for someone younger or someone prone to throwing around their facemasks and tools, get them a metal one!

I’ve had gua shas before but when I first started using this, I was a bit confused on how to use it. Luckily, on the back of the box, there’s a QR code that they tell you to scan for detailed instructions. That was really helpful! You can have different gua shas and the shapes really dictate their usage. This one is best as the description states for sculpting your jawline to make it appear slimmer and lifted. You can also use it under the eyes, the cheeks and the forehead. The quality and look is amazing. It’s a work of art. It has a good grip and is very comfortable to hold and use. It is quite pricey so you are mostly paying for the craftsmanship. Made in Taiwan which is known for producing high quality products.

I’m not sure how effective this is. I haven’t noticed a difference. It does seem durable though. Maybe I am using it wrong.

I'm not going to speak to the science of using a tool such as this as I am nowhere near qualified for that. What I will say is that I looked around and compared this Tool to others, and the main differences seem to be price, shape, and material. From what I've seen, most of them tend to be porcelain, which this one is also. It is on the higher side compared to others however some people enjoy the "luxury" experience and I'm sure the fact that this is a collaboration with another brand enhances that. In terms of the shape most of them seem to be a variation of what your jaw bone would look like. If you're into the science of this, want to shape your jawline, and enjoy luxury products then this is for you.

This looks like a cute little dinosaur, or maybe that's just me. Either way I love this. It's super easy to hold and I enjoy that it has different ends and different textures on each side, offering the ability to use it in different ways. It works well as a gua sha but also to work on old scars. I love this.
