Best cacao powder I've seen in a long time. It tastes wonderful in my oatmeal! It's wonderful! Keep this on the shelf! Has antioxidants and everything else I want without all the stuff I don't want. The less processing the better except for cleaning.

This Cacao is the best I have ever had; it is pure and is not Dutch processed. For those that are not sure an easy tool: (ask Rufus - No, the BetterBody Foods Organic Cacao Powder you currently have is NOT Dutch processed! As confirmed by the manufacturer and customers, it's natural, non-alkalized cacao that retains its natural acidity and antioxidants. to maintain the highest of nutrients.) Also, if Dutch processed there will be additional ingredients listed as the alkalizing agent. I read through the reviews and was disappointed in seeing so many bad reviews due to the California Prop 65 Warning. This is a subject that drives me batty. This is one that people should educate themselves on before throwing out items or giving them bad reviews. Your lack of knowledge may prevent someone from purchasing a completely good product due to their lack of knowledge and listening to you. To all of you freaking out about the California Proposition 65 warning, you can chill out, and here is why: Please take a moment to read about the proposition and what it was intend to be and what it actually ended up being. This was passed in California in 1986 with a short list of chemicals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury. Since then, the list has grown to over 900 chemicals to include naturally occurring substances. Us Californians are pretty zealous without thinking of the consequences. If this company chose to not sell/deliver to California, you would be buying the same product without the warning, how's that for knowing your product is safe where you live? Sorry to let you know that so, so many products you purchase/consume are not sold in California and you just don’t get the “warning” required to sell here. Analytical technology has advanced to a level of such precision that it is now possible to find traces of toxic heavy metals in virtually all foods and beverages. They cannot be avoided. They will be in foods bought at the market and consumed at home; in foods consumed at restaurants, even in vegetables you grow at home. Just as these heavy metals are present in foods, they are consequently found in supplements made of natural materials, whether from plants or animals. If you are trashing any of these you may as well give up everything, including eating and breathing. To put it in perspective, the "no significant risk level" is defined as the level of exposure that would result in not more than one excess case of cancer in 100,000 individuals exposed to the chemical over a 70-year lifetime. In other words, a person exposed to the chemical for 70 years would not have more than a 1 in 100,000 increased chance of developing cancer as a result of the exposure. We will all be lucky to get to 70 without some kind of exposure. Watch out for your organic garden in your backyard just off the freeway, or even in the country where there is moving air. Another portion of the proposition you are putting faith in is, "A Way Out". Government agencies and employers with less than 10 employees are exempt, therefore you may be consuming the same thing from a company with a head honcho and 8 employees. The company with few employees may not keep to the same standards (cleanliness, etc.) as the one that has to put the label on. Not to excite the scared but here are some items with lead exposure with just 4 ounces, you may or may not recognize, shrimp 23.80 mcg, those lovely crispy brussels sprouts 7.9 mcg, and a really good one, Italian salad dressing, 12.20. I don't see those warnings at Olive Garden and I love their salad dressing on the never-ending salad and breadsticks. Wonder how much the breadsticks add? Food categories with the highest frequency of detectable lead include meat, especially offal, organ meats and wild game, shellfish (particularly bivalves), cocoa (what you are reading this review over and is deemed healthy), tea, cereal grains and products, and vegetables. I am sorry to inform you, any bag of cocoa should have the warning if basing it on the California requirement. So, buttercups, I hope I have convinced you to pull the bags out of the trash and use any product with the warning for the reasons you purchased them for, or at least read before you react. To be kind to this seller you could even delete your bad reviews aimed at their diligent requirement to post, as there is nothing wrong with their product because of the label. As a side note, I just received a bra I ordered with the same Prop 65 warring on the label. My nippies are in danger, not!

No contiene azúcar , es el cacao natural. Tiene un aroma y sabor delicioso!!! Sédese que lo empece a tomar se me quitó esa como anciedad por el dulce y sobre todo por el comer galletas y pasteles de chocolate por lo mismo que sentía que me faltaba dulce. Lo súper recomiendo!!! Ojalá y hubiera la opción de planee y ahorre para que nunca falte!!
