The kit worked out great, I replaced my putter grip with a new SuperStroke grip. The cutting tool worked and made getting the old grip off much easier.

I'm glad I decided to try gripping my clubs on my own. I found it easy to do and the only thing you need other than what is in this kit is a vice to hold the club in. I had been experimenting with going to midsize grips and didn't feel like paying for grips, labor, and then having to wait for a couple of days to get my clubs back. I grabbed some midsize tour velvets' and tried them out on a few clubs before doing the rest of the set. Some tips:- The cutter works well but be careful with graphite shafts cause it will mark them.- Get the cutter into the old grip and slice at a 45 degree angle rather than 90 so it doesn't score the shaft.- Put something under the club to catch the excess liquid so you can reuse it if necessary.- Taking off the old tape is a bit of a pain, if it's still sticky and not torn up from removal of the old grip you can sometimes just slip the new one and forget about changing the tape.

Great kit. Easy to use. Has everything you need. I wasn't sure how much fluid would be required. Plenty of fluid. Used for 13 grips, and still have fluid left.
