I was looking for a mechanical automatic watch with a 50's style. I have this watch since over a year now and I just love it. I wear it everyday: the running reserve is about a day. It has an understated elegance and simplicity to it. I get a kick out of how it glows at night with hours marked in a clever square pattern. If you want a flashy expensive watch, this isn't it. If you want simplicity and luxury, this is the right watch. And yes, you have to manually adjust the date at the end of the 30 day months.

I got this watch during a trip to Germany in 2000 and it made me appreciate mechanical movements. I've since acquired quite a collection but this great little watch is still one of my favorites.

Just got this from Non-Amazon Site...love this watch. It is very understated and Elegant. Keep in mind though that strap that comes with this watch is 20mm...so on the smaller side
