This stuff is magical! I used it on a wooden curtain rod that I had painted. The curtain rings dragged across the painted surface, even with multiple coats of a polyurethane. I don't remember how I learned about this tape product, but figured it was worth a try. It works perfectly! It is totally invisible on the rod and now my curtain rings glide smoothly up and down the length of the rod. Brilliant! The roll came with much more than I needed but it didn't take long to find other places in the house to use it such as the shower curtain rod and two other curtain rods that "extend" and therefore have bumps at the point where the tubes extend. I'm hoping the product lasts a long time, but if it doesn't I won't hesitate to buy it again.

I'm so in love with this curtain tape! Makes noisy sliding a thing of the past. It it nice and thick and the (in my case) curtain rod clips slid right over. This is my second purchase and I'm thrilled!

Yes, the Glide Tape solved the curtain rod bump problem, and I am even more pleasantly surprised that curtains with metal grommet rings now glide silently 🤫 And no, you cannot see the tape from a distance. You really need to be looking with intent to see it, and no one will do that. The silent gliding is really the untold selling point here. I never knew how loud they were, until they weren't. This curtain rod glide tape works very well. It is not as thick as another one I used previously but it is still doing the job of a quieter and easier slide of the curtains. This one is much more budget friendly. It doesn't come with alcohol swabs to clean your curtain rod before you install, so be sure to clean the rod beforehand to get the best adhesion.

This tape WORKS SO WELL! I was really skeptical as I've had a really long lasting issue with my super high curtain rod not allowing the rings to slide easily to close my black out curtains at night. I took a change that this would work and it was instant relief. I'm telling you - YEARS - I've been holding up a long stick in one hand and the curtain in the other and wiggling it along the rod and using the stick to help it over the ridge on either side of my curtain rod. If you have this issue - you know what i'm talking about. This tape is the answer that solves the problem and allows your curtain rod rings to slide easily across and close the curtains one handed.

Wow! I have had this for a few months now and I wish I had purchased this long ago! It is easy to install and the quality has been amazing. I have no issues opening or closing my curtains now. I had enough for the windows in 3 bedrooms.

A simple idea that really made a difference! The tape goes along the length of rod. No more screeching or getting stuck.
