Prior to using powered tools, we completed several projects manually and eventually reached the point where my husband’s hand temporarily locked up from the amount of repetitive turning required. This DEWALT screwdriver made an immediate difference. Assembly became faster, less physically demanding, and much more comfortable. Since purchasing it, we have used it on numerous household projects including multiple rotating bookshelves, storage organizers, cabinets, and other furniture builds. One of the projects that really highlighted its value involved assembling several rotating bookshelves. One assembly stage alone required 96 screws per unit. Prior to using powered tools, we had completed furniture assembly manually and eventually reached the point where my husband’s hand temporarily locked up from the repetitive motion. What had previously caused noticeable hand and wrist fatigue became much more manageable with this tool. I love this thing, holds charge for a long time, super convenient. So much easier than a regular screwdriver. Good power to get the job done, but don't expect it to replace a drill. Fits any quick connect bits making its super versatile.

What a great cordless driver that can easily pull an electrical panel cover and assemble products. It's light, rigid and easy to turn with my fingers to start a screw and then drive it, woth or without the motor. I still can't believe I had to turn the torque down. This is a very powerful for its size. The light is perfect and concealed nicely. I finally have a good driver I'm also not worried about being nabbed. At this price point it's very accessible and replaceable. All it needs is solid ratcheting mechanism and it would be perfect. 5 stars for a fantastic compact impact driver that's almost as small as my largest manual driver. Please don't mess this driver up in the future lol

This driver surprisingly has a good amount of torque. primary use for me is for my RC hobby. i had to do a few repairs after some spills i took. and everything i had to take apart came apart and back together with ease. the collar you use to activate, reverse and manually screw drive is shockingly easy to use. at first i thought it would be strange but it feels comfortable. the only complaint i have about this drive is the grommet that covers the charge port does not go back in and cover it very well at all. the entire time i was using it the cover kept popping out and bugging me. comes with decent common use bits. it also has a great form factor fitting nicely in my hobby toolbox.

It's a nice drill. Seems we'll balanced in my hands. I was surprised by the torque it supplied. The feature that you can break a screw, bolt or nut by twisting the unit is cool. It gives you more control overall. No assembly required. Just insert a bit, extension or adapter and you are ready to go. Size is good for my average hands. Probably need adapters and universals to get into tight places. It's DEWALT, quality tools high prices. The adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. The only caveat, you can't replace the battery. Back in the day, I had a Black and Decker that ran for over 10 years on a non-removable battery. Light duty large unit. If I get 10 years out of this DEWALT, I will feel I got my money's worth. It takes a little time to get used to operating it. It works great. But, I had to use it a bit before I appreciated the different features. Highly recommend.

This thing works, and works well. The included bits are nice, but also you can use other standard locking bits in it, so you're not trapped in some DEWALT ecosystem OR the few included bits. Takes a few hours to charge up from empty, so best to make sure it's topped up overnight if you plan to use it the next day, else you'll be taking an unscheduled break during work hours. Only bad thing I could say is that in the middle "locked" mode, for manual turning, it is NOT locked physically (say, with a metal bar), but by the stationary unpowered motor, making it useless as a standard screwdriver because the motor will give way if you apply too much elbow grease to break a screw prior to using the powered mode to remove it, for example. TL;DR It works well forwards or backwards, but you still need to bring solid metal tools to break a screw that is tight before you can use this tool on it OR to apply stronger tightness than this tool can provide after screwing it in with the DEWALT.

Great quality , works well, good bit selection, no pixie bit? Takes some getting use to and no pistol grip. Lots of torque, adjustable torque? bit change easy. Good fit in tool bag.
