Silicone Food Storage Containers, 4Pcs Avocado Saver Produce Holder

These are really fun to use and keeps what you put inside fresh. Perfect for our motorhome where saving space is always the issue.

I'm trying to stop wasting so much plastic and food by wrapping half cut onions, tomatoes, lemons, etc in plastic wrap and throwing them into the refrigerator, only to find the hidden in the back of the produce drawer, either dried up and browning or growing moldy fur where none should ever be! This four pack of plastic rimmed interlocking silicone disks keeps things fresher, protects them from the air so their texture and color stay fresh, but also keep smells in so you aren't hit by acrid onion scents when you open your fridge. They're very easy to open and close; the stretchiness of the silicone helps accommodate a fair sized onion or piece of fruit. I've also used it for vegetables like bell peppers that don't fit in these whole, but cleaned and in chunks fit just fine and stay fresh longer. The price on these is right for the value they provide. The bright colors are easy to see in the produce drawer so I don't lose track of them. Another tool in my kitchen that will help reduce the amount of plastic waste AND food waste in my life while saving money on things I would just throw away. Brilliant idea and I will probably be ordering more for my cottage .

I’ve been using these for months now and absolutely love them. They are made with a firm plastic outer ring and the center is a stretchy strong membrane that conforms to your food, creating a good seal. It bounces right back when you remove your food. It keeps food fresh much longer, especially things like a tomato you’ve already sliced open. It works sort of like you’d replaced the original peel of the tomato. It’s better than plastic wrap that lets food get slimy. The membrane “breathes” like the original skin and stretches enough to cover a half avocado with pit. The best part is I just throw it into the top rack of the dishwasher and it’s ready for the next use. I’ve included a video showing my newly sliced ripe tomato and onion, and a second video of the same tomato and onion 5 days later. (Sorry, Amazon said I could only upload one video, so I uplladed the 5 days later one.) They are very durable and fit a variety of items. Get these. You’ll wonder why you didn’t get them sooner and you’ll never go back to plastic wrap. Also, I use a lot of vacuum- seal bags and bowls. These are handier for more frequently used items like a tomato you might use only one slice at a time. No wasted vacuum bags each time you make a sandwich or only eat half an apple.

If these could hold just a bit taller, like an onion that has only a little bit cut from it. The top won’t close. These are very small made for very small things but they work great

Very sturdy. Work well. Great size. Perfect for onion, tomatoes and avocado

Just buy yourself baggies. These things are ridiculous, although a cute idea. The onion smell stays in the plastic. Purple onion dyed the plastic. They only fit around half vegetables or half pieces, they don’t stretch as far as you think they would. They definitely don’t fit over 3/4 of an onion. They don’t keep them fresher than plastic wrap, or Tupperware, or any other way to store your vegetables.

Amazing product, really works well. Keeps an avocado edible for a few days which no other method does. I am really pleased with how the silicone keeps produce from molding or getting bad. I was a little skeptical at first that these would work but after using them for a few months I am convinced how useful these are.

Great item and very pleased I purchased them. I like the size and color coordinate the produce! Every time I use them it brings a smile to my face. I love the sturdiness the easy way they open. Anyone with arthritis or other hand or finger medical issues will be able to open easily! The outer rim is very sturdy and middle silicone material is extremely flexible and very lasting. You get 4 and you should be very ecstatic by not using plastic to reduce the carbon footprint.

Super für angeschnittenes Obst &Gemüse. Leicht zu reinigen! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Good product with very stretchy silicon unlike others I tried

Sehr gut für alle Obstreste für den nächsten Tag.

Very flimsy!! Could split easily

Wat een uitkomst, geen gefriemel meer met aluminiumfolie en vergeten wat erin zat. Duidelijk zichtbaar en blijft langer vers en….makkelijk schoon te maken.
