Not often I'm surprised, but this monitor is absolutely brilliant. I've had a high quality Alienware 38 widescreen, and I was always ok with it, recently though the white banding issue in dark scenes made me change. Glad I did, colours pop out and the dark scenes in Last of us 2, rich dark colours, can actually see more in the dark, so much easier to see whats in the shadows. Oled is far superior, was worried re burn in, but this monitor reminds you to use the refresh feature.. The pixels that a reviewer with bionic eyes, said was problematic, no issues for me. Resolution wise had no issues with ultrawide comparability so far. Now, the 800R curve? Well it is great for gamers, really helps immersion. No issues reading emails etc. I don't work on a pc, its for gaming/ leisure. Get it now while its £700 odd quid. Stunning picture OLED, proper colours, proper dark when its supposed to be, and crisp crystal clear graphics. Its a 10 from me Len.

If you are a PC gamer looking for that new display/monitor upgrade, just BUY this OLED display! dont even consider wasting your time or money on cheaper IPS!! for general desktop use it doesn't look much different to to IPS screens tbh. BUT, once you have your GAMES loaded up, they look absolutely Excellent! so SHARP! so CLEAR! so much juicy vibrant COLOR! ALSO, you can emulate 24 inch screens by setting the resolution un-scaled in nvidia control panel and then choosing 1080p resolution! so you got options if 27 inch is abit too big for you! i actually play 1080 by 1440p! looks stunning! this is the cheapest OLED you can buy and its top quality! if you are a PC gamer, you absolute owe it to your video GAMES to be displayed in the BEST way possible! finally, when u get the monitor, make sure the first thing u do is adjust the settings to make the display look its best!

I like this monitor, it's big and bright, well most of the time, the pixel cycling feature dims the monitor to prolong life, this is an option to engage, and it comes in different flavours. The stand works well with reasonable height adjustment, so on a normal desk, you can centre the monitor with a straight-ahead POV, if you prefer a monitor shelf, the monitor slides down almost to the bottom of the support. The monitor can be mounted on an arm or stand. The curve for "work" eg word processing, it does take a little getting used to, it is, however, just a habit/familiarity thing, and it's easy to have three program windows open at the same time, with real estate being equal to that of three monitors in practical terms. By that, I mean if I were writing this review on a standard landscape widescreen monitor, the actual form would take up the central third of the screen. In this larger monitor, the relevant part of the screen is fully visualised and larger than, say, on a standard 24" landscape view, being effectively 'portrait'. Of course, I can go full screen at any time for video and gaming reasons, and here, the larger high-definition display comes into its own. First few days of use, thoughts --, the remote control is useful and necessary. The switches are mostly around the back of the monitor, making them PITA to get to. This is true for the USB connections, which I don't use because I don't have the need; still for devices you would keep connected almost all of the time, so a Keyboard/mouse, etc, this is not so much of an issue, in the same way connecting the video lead and power cable location is not convenient for say memory stick use etc unless your desk free stands so you can walk around the back. The remote allows me to set timing alerts, which is good because I am lousy at taking breaks when into a project; the one negative is the monitor asks for rest after four hours of use; I can ignore and power through; this is just a feature of OLED tech, and a means to ensure longevity, again running the refresh program is via the remote, it's not a great inconvenience, and perhaps a good thing to have to take a break, and I generally complete my current task, and manually engage a few minutes after. I think the price at the moment is good for a monitor of this size and quality.

do not buy this monitor if your looking for the 540hz wow factor. only runs at 500hz with pretty bad motion blur and ghosting, the brightness always goes up and down randomly mid game and the screen quality has this grainy finish which makes it look like a 720p monitor dont buy.

Amazing picture, brightness is amazing, isnt tooo heavy but i did have to buy a new arm great for the price!

I really like this product does 540 hertz and everything is perfect however it's a Niesh product, what i mean by this is that its design is to do one thing and that is to work perfectly with fps games, but that is its only great point, not great for movies etc so only buy if you want a great quality monitor for just the hertz.

Ce 45" AOC OLED est excellent a tout point de vue !! Ne croyez pas les betises qu'on peut lire a droite et a gauche sur son ppi trop faible, c'est totalement invisible !!! Et il a tout, freesync premium/G-sync, oled, hdr 10, 240hz, pbp, pip, switch kvm, haut parleur, telecommande, overlay crosshair, zoom, usb c, usb 3, usb dedié pour la charge.. Sa resolution de 3440x1440 est idéale en 45", pas besoin d'une 4090 pour exploiter pleinement cet ecran, et on gagne réellemenr de la hauteur d'ecran contrairement a un 49" ou plus !! Activer l'HDR dans Windows puis sur l'ecran en HDR Natif (ou en custom si on veut pouvoir regler la luminosite, couleur, contraste..etc..) et là c'est une veritable claque graphique, je redecouvre mes jeux (simracing pour ma part, AC, ACC, AMS2...) , je viens d'un 34" en IPS 120Hz calibré et je ne pensais vraiment pas avoir un saut qualitatif de cette ampleur !! Si vous le pouvez, foncez !!! L'Oled couplé au HDR, c'est vraiment quelque chose !!!

Den AOC AGON AG352QCX nutze ich mittlerweile seit über 6 Wochen insbesondere für Spiele in Verbindung mit einer MSI Radeon RX480 Gaming X 8G (Polaris 10 XT) Grafikkarte. Diese Rezension schreibe ich auf der Basis meiner eigenen Erfahrungen mit diesem Monitor im realen Leben. Ausgestattet ist der Monitor mit einer 35“ Bilddiagonale im 21:9 Format, MVA-Panel sowie AdaptiveSync / FreeSync Unterstützung. Der Monitor wirkt nach dem ersten Auspacken extrem mächtig und imposant. Mit seiner 35“ Bilddiagonale ist er eine echte Erscheinung und ein Hingucker. Dabei wird einem auch schnell klar, dass ein gebogenes Display / Curved Display bei dieser Größe richtig Sinn macht, um einen optimalen Blickwinkel zum Monitor zu haben. Die Verarbeitungsqualität des Monitors und des Standfußes sind hochwertig und geben sich keine Blöße. Der Standfuß ist komplett aus Metall gefertigt und steht auf drei Beinen, wodurch er eine gute Stabilität bekommt. Dabei lässt sich der Standfuß bequem ohne großen Kraftaufwand sowohl in der Höhe und in der Neigung verstellen, als auch nach links und rechts drehen. Eine Pivot Funktion (drehen des Monitors um 90 Grad) ist nicht enthalten, was bei dieser Bilddiagonale auch keinen Sinn machen würde. Der Monitor selber hat ein Kunststoff Gehäuse, welches ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck hinterlässt und sauber verarbeitet ist. Es knarzt nichts und das Panel ist spannungsfrei im Gehäuse eingebaut. Im unteren Bereich des Gehäuses sowie auf der Rückseite sind LED Leuchten integriert, die für einen besonderen optischen Effekt sorgen sollen. Diese LED Leuchten lassen sich sowohl in der Helligkeit als auch in der Farbe einstellen (rot/grün/blau/aus). Richtig intensiv sieht man diese LED Beleuchtung aber nur, wenn es im Raum relativ dunkel ist und die LED’s auf volle Helligkeit eingestellt sind. Bei normalem Tageslicht oder bei heller Raumbeleuchtung sieht man die LED Beleuchtung kaum bis gar nicht. Die Anschlussmöglichkeiten sind umfangreich und flexibel, so dass man zwischen Display Port 1.2, HDMI 2.0, DVI sowie einem analogen D-Sub Anschluss wählen kann (warum auch immer). Um die volle Auflösung von 2560 x 1080 Bildpunkten in Verbindung mit AdaptiveSync / FreeSync nutzen zu können, muss der Monitor über Display Port oder HDMI angeschlossen werden. Zusätzlich stehen 2x USB 3.0 (davon 1x mit Schnellladefunktion), Audio In, Headset, Microphone In sowie Microphone Out Anschlüsse zur Verfügung. In Verbindung mit meiner RX480 Grafikkarte kann ich problemlos die volle Bildschirmauflösung mit 200 Hz zusammen mit FreeSync nutzen. Seitlich hat der Monitor als kleinen Gimmick einen ausklappbaren Halter für einen Kopfhörer, den ich mittlerweile gerne und regelmäßig nutze. Wenn man alle Kabel entsprechend verbunden hat, kann der Monitor über einen kleinen Joystick auf der Unterseite des Monitors eingeschaltet und auch bedient werden. Es gibt nur dieses eine Bedienelement, was anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war. Wenn man auf den Joystick drückt, bestätigt man eine Eingabe und durch bewegen in die vier verschiedenen Richtungen lassen sich die Menüs aufrufen und Unterpunkte auswählen. Nach einigen Minuten hat man den Dreh raus. Viel komfortabler empfinde ich persönlich aber die Steuerung des Monitors über die mitgelieferte „i-Menu“ Software von AOC. Darüber lassen sich alle Funktionen sehr bequem und einfach konfigurieren. Über das mitgelieferte rote „Quick Switch Keypad“ erhält man Zugriff auf die zusätzlichen Game Settings des Monitors. Hier lassen sich tiefgehende Einstellungen für Spiele vornehmen und auch als Voreinstellung abspeichern. Dazu gehören Shadow Control, FPS Mode, Low Blue Light, sowie Low Input Lag. Alle diese Optionen gleichzeitig zu aktivieren führt nicht automatisch zu einem tollen Bild. Hier muss man etwas experimentieren, um je nach Spiel und eigenem Geschmack ein für sich optimales Bild zu erhalten. Der Monitor wurde bei mir unter Windows 10 automatisch richtig erkannt. Die Bildwiederholfrequenz ist auf 59Hz voreingestellt, so dass man diese selber auf Werte bis zu 200Hz umstellen sollte, was problemlos funktioniert. Er verfügt über ein Display mit MVA Panel. Pixelfehler sind keine vorhanden, nicht einer (mehrfach getestet mit DPT – Dead Pixel Tester). Die Ausleuchtung des Panels und auch den Schwarzwert empfinde ich beides als gut. Es gibt nur ein minimales Backlight Bleeding, was man bei schwarz geschaltetem Bildschirm nur sehr leicht an den Rändern sieht. Bei vielen IPS Panels ist das deutlich stärker ausgeprägt. Im normalen Spielbetrieb sieht man davon nichts und man hat ein schönes und gleichmäßiges Bild. Wie bereits geschrieben ist auch der Schwarzwert sehr gut, d.h. sichtbar besser als bei dem bereits guten TN Panel, welches ich vorher hatte. Ob es die gleichen Schwarzwerte erreicht wie ein gutes IPS Panel kann ich nur schwer beurteilen. In Verbindung mit meiner RX 480 Grafikkarte und den eingestellten 200Hz sind die Bildübergänge dank AdaptiveSync / FreeSync butterweich ohne sichtbares Tearing und ohne Schlierenbildung. In einer anderen Rezension habe ich gelesen, dass es dort zu sichtbarer Schlierenbildung gekommen ist, was mich ebenfalls stark stören würde. Wie bereits erwähnt ist das bei mir nicht der Fall. Rein subjektiv betrachtet bemerke ich bisher keinen sichtbaren Unterschied zwischen 200Hz und 144Hz. Insgesamt gesehen ist das Bild mit 35“ Diagonale im 21:9 Format für Spiele ein richtig tolles Erlebnis. Ich hatte vorher einen Monitor (auch AOC AGON) mit 27“ Diagonale im 16:9 Format und der Unterschied ist schon stark sichtbar. Entsprechend macht dieser Monitor bei Spielen jede Menge Spaß und dafür wurde er auch konzipiert. Andere Software Applikationen sehen durch das 21:9 Format zunächst sehr in die Breite gezogen und gewöhnungsbedürftig aus. Für mich selber funktioniert es gut, wenn ich ein Programm nicht bildschirmfüllend öffne, d.h. das Fenster maximiere, sondern das Fenster in der Breite etwas kleiner mache. Dadurch kann ich bequem zwei bzw. mehrere Programme gleichzeitig im Fenster öffnen und diese nebeneinander positionieren. Dann ist auch der optische Eindruck wieder in Ordnung. Für die Audio Wiedergabe hat der Monitor zwei eingebaute Lautsprecher mit einer Leistung von jeweils 5 Watt. Die Lautstärke und Klangqualität sind für Standard Audio Inhalte vollkommen in Ordnung und ausreichend. Für Spiele fehlt es aber trotzdem an Bass, weswegen ich einen guten Kopfhörer bzw. Headset empfehle. Zusammenfassend betrachtet gefällt mir der Monitor für Spiele sehr gut und er ist ein echtes Erlebnis. Qualität und Leistung sind stimmig. Große nennenswerte Schwächen habe ich bisher noch keine festgestellt. Vor dem Kauf sollte einem nur bewusst sein, dass eine Bilddiagonale von 35“ sehr mächtig ist und viel Platz auf dem Tisch einnimmt. Weiterhin ist wichtig zu wissen, dass dieses 21:9 Format zwar toll für aktuelle Spiele ist, aber nicht ganz so optimal für Anwender Software. Wer viel mit Anwender Software arbeitet, ist eventuell beim AOC AGON mit 27“ Diagonale im 16:9 Format besser aufgehoben. Falls sich in den nächsten Monaten an den Eigenschaften etwas ändert, werde ich die Rezension entsprechend aktualisieren.
