So I chose the calico because I have a calico cat that’s besides the point. When I opened the package it literally felt like this thing hugged my soul. The weight of it isn’t too heavy but just enough pressure to feel the heat. Great quality and worth every penny. I’m a bigger woman 220lbs and I would have liked for it to be a bit bigger. That’s my only complaint

My daughter who is 8 loves me heating up the bread bag in the microwave for her avocado. It lasts a while and helps her fall asleep. She likes to cuddle it.

This is adorable, soft, and a nice huggable size. It is filled with clay beads, and they stay warm for a few hours and don't get "sweaty" in the microwave, unlike other heating pads that are filled with flax or buckwheat (which I'm also super allergic to, so finding something filled with a non-allergen was a huge plus). However, I don't like that the pouch of beads has to be removed before microwaving. It's inconvenient, and the beads shift around inside the pouch and make the whole stuffed animal too heavy on one side or the other, so it wants to tilt or slide instead of staying where I put it. I'm also not a fan of the huge scratchy velcro that holds the pocket closed -- I think a zipper or snaps would have been better. Overall a nice, cute heading pad that will do the job, though maybe not the absolute best one on the market.

We have the snugglesafe warmers but it was also recommended to give Neonatal kittens a stuffed cat to cuddle. This felt like a perfect option to also give a little warm. Boo, the kitten, seems to love itBe sure to match your heating time with your microwave. Ours is 1200w so needed to adjust down the heating time to 50 seconds.

Little tight getting the filling out to microwave but it works. Kids love it.

This was bought for a 3 yr old boy with an ear infection who wouldn’t use a regular heating pad. When he was introduced to the Avacado there was no fear and he cuddled it until he fell asleep with no more tears. Wonderful product to help the little ones relax and heal. Highly recommended!!

It is very cute and soft, but the small area that the hot pack is in has velcro closure. It is not easy to open and the fluffy fabric easily sticks to the velcro. It doesn't heat up a large enough area of the avacado, the actual hot pack that goes inside is very small. Unfortunatley it will be used as a stuffy only.
