Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Lightweight Waterproof Shoe Hiking Boot

I regularly walk 10km/day and needed winter walkers... these are perfect! Fit is exceptional, great support, warm and comfy.

I used these Columbia boots on a major hike in the UK. Most days were up and down hills, with a target between 25-30 km per day. These boots kept my feet warm and dry. The only thing I changed were the insoles. These boots have no arch support and so I bought sport gel insoles that gave cushioning and arch support. Love the colour of the boots as well. It took me a few months of research to decide which boots to buy, and I had to buy online because the small town I live in seemed to have no stock to choose from. It was a bit nerve-wracking to buy online, but these were great! No regrets! I look forward to hiking with them again. A great purchase.

I am so very pleased with this purchase. The shoes are 100% waterproof. They were super comfortable right out of the box. They have a wide toe box which is a must for me and they look super cute! I would highly recommend

I’ve been using these hiking boots (this is my second pair of boots) for several outings, and overall they have performed very well. They feel sturdy and well made, and the materials seem durable. From the first use, they provided good support and comfort without causing discomfort or pressure points.The traction is reliable on different types of terrain, and they offer good stability while walking on uneven surfaces. I also appreciate the fit, which feels secure without being too tight. They are easy to put on and adjust.So far, I’m satisfied with the quality and performance. They meet my expectations and are a good option for hiking or outdoor activities.

I originally bought these to wear for plein air painting. I had a Jones fracture on my left foot so hiking through fields carrying 30 lbs. of gear and then standing for 3 or 4 hours while painting is rough on my feet. I had a pair of Columbia hiking boots several years ago that my daughter permanently borrowed so I was familiar with the fit.Columbia boots are very comfortable once you have the proper fit. They do tend to run a little small so I sized up to my athletic shoe size. Since I normally wear a size 9 in shoes and riding boots and size 9.5 in running shoes I ordered the 9.5. The boots seem a little roomy, even with thick wool socks, when I first lace them up but after I’m on my feet for a little bit this is less noticeable. I wore my boots for the first time yesterday while running errands and they were very comfortable out of the box. After being on my feet for about three hours I didn’t feel the need to change shoes before taking my dog for a 1/2 mile walk when I got home. Even after the walk, they were so comfortable and my feet felt so good that I almost hated to take them off.I love the teal color. They look so cute with my jeans. I decided to add these to my boot collection as part of my wardrobe and ordered a second pair to wear for hiking and plein air painting.
